Good sounding, bad quality for calling, falls off.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony usually makes really solid products that you know have great thought put into the hardware itself. Especially their hard-wired headphones. However with these Bluetooth wireless headphones, it's a different story. They have great sound for what you're getting in such a small package. They have a nice weight to them and the controls are very easy to use due to their size. NFC pairing to a device is awesome and I hope that they don't remove this feature from their products ever. They stay put in my ears when I am using them, however they don't stay straight on my neck. Here are the issues I've had with them... people who I am talking to say that it's hard to hear me or that I sound like i'm cutting in and out during a call. They have no way of staying put when not in use and *always* end up on the floor at some point. If Sony had thought about maybe putting a clip on the back of them (like JayBird), or even making the earpieces magnetic to clip them together when not in use, that would have worked wonderful. Instead, they have this weighted piece of plastic (probably the battery?) that sits at the back of your neck to sort of keep it in place. The issue is, that it doesn't. My biggest gripe is that the device does not hand-off to multiple devices very well. As in, if you have two phones paired to it, they won't switch between them automatically like other Bluetooth headphones do. I have to disconnect the phone that I am not going to use in Bluetooth settings and let it establish it's connection with the other device. If I need to get it done quick, I just use NFC and it will switch that way. Overall since I got them for such a good price, I won't return them. However if I paid full price, i'd take them back.

Decent quality if not for physical design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First and foremost, soundwise this device is quite nice. Bass is clear though not the most emphasized. Not muddled like your average $5, $10, or $15 pair from a corner store or gas station though. Rather clear. Phone use is nice and simple with clear audio though multiple people said they couldn't hear me clearly. I assume this is due to the mic position. I'm rather tall and broad shaped so my jawline might be the issue. Connectivity faced one issue I often find with any pair of wireless headphones during the last 5 years; cutting in and out sometimes while phone(connected device) is placed in my back pants pocket during normal listening use. One particularly sound note I found erking was sounds associated with lisps tended to cut through sharply. Most notably 'S' sounding words. Voices through music were not as crisp and piercing except with sounds like the above mentioned lips sounds. The overall physical feel for this headset is nice if not for the oddly placed rectangle pill like shaped capsule fixated in the middle of the cord. While I haven't researched what it was I assume to some extent it's either the battery or sound control hardware. I feel it would be better placed further on the right side. Opposite of the control box. The material the 'capsul' shaped piece is created with does not slide with ease across my neck while twisting and turning my head to any one direction. While the device says it is sweat resistant I would not entirely suggest using this device in conditions that cause you to sweat from rapid physical exertion. I used it multiple times during physical workouts and running and it was often in the way, catching on my neck and consistently hindered the ability to turn my head at all without pulling the headphones out of my ear with even the simplist turn such as normal head turning. With the capsul positioned where it is you can feel the weight of the headset bouncing and jerking through manual labor, especially during change of elevations like running or jogging. This is better suited for long, relaxed use or placing the cord in front, across your neck or chest. Overall I didn't feel like the cost outweighed the flaws of this device. $45+ is a good chunk of change to spend. I used this device for a combined 15+ hour use and came to this conclusion before returning them.

GOOD VALUE BUT OLDER DESIGN
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good headphones for the money, but I feel these have been eclipsed by newer designs. The sound quality is good for watching videos, and people say they can hear me well while using the phone. Bluetooth pairing is extremely easy; however, these will only pair with my newer Samsung Galaxy smart phone, not the previous model that I still use for workouts, and they won't pair to the laptop I use for work. These headphones came with different size earbud tips, but newer designs that have the 'wings' stay in my ears better. The only real downside for me is that the battery pack can swing around if I'm working in the yard or turn my head too far, causing the now off-center weight to pull the earbuds out of my ears. I bought these on clearance, so I can't complain about the price. They are certainly easy to use and battery life has been good so far.

Functional budget headphones
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These work really good for the price! This is the third pair of bluetooth headphones I've gone through and all the other ones die after a few months but these are still working. Because of my past experiences with the other headphones not working I did get the 2-year warranty for them, but so far I haven't needed to cash in on that. The sound quality is pretty good, I prefer the sound from my wired apple headphones but these are not bad at all. My only real complaint is the bar on the back is bothersome and it makes it unbalanced and really easy to fall out of the ears when working out. I wish that the bar was positioned on the right ear opposite the mic/volume bar so it was more balanced.

Fall off you faster than a toupee in a hurricane
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are pretty nice as long as you have them in your ears. Do not wear them around your neck as they will fall off you faster than a toupee in a hurricane... That's the only gripe I have about these earbuds. The volume and sound are good. I just hate that I constantly find them on the floor.
