Just bought this today. Headset works great. Found out a simple fix if this headset breaks. Keep the USB adapter. You can just use a normal headphone you would normally use for MP3 player and stuff. It works. Now you don't have to worry about replacing it when it breaks. Don't know though if the 7.1 Surround Sound will work but it works just fine with my regular headphone.

The quality is good all around but there was one thing i couldn't get past. after just a few mins of wearing it, it began to be very uncomfortable. I guess it could just be my head shape... I also have a much more expensive one that feels much better.

This headset is great far as sound and talking but made poorly after having it for 3 months the top of the head set broke. Will not buy this product again

The sound isn't bad, but the headset gets really uncomfortable when being worn for about 30 minutes. I try to avoid wearing my glasses when I have it on because it feels even worse.

they are good quality great sound but after a day your ears will hurt i return the for some turtle beach ones

The headset sounds great. Gives you the gaming experience you want. Makes you feel like your in the game.

overall, not a terrible buy, but like others expect ear discomfort during long gaming sessions. I bought 2 of these(my son and me). Didn't take long, even with careful usage and care, the plastic headband(piece fitting over your head) broke, right in the middle on my son's. Thought maybe he was rough on it, but 2 wks later mine-same thing. Did not by OEM wrrnty. Mine has broken in 4 places, poor quality mfctrng. Sound not 2 bad. But there's better out there.

Great price and good sound quality. Gets uncomfortable after an hour or so.

I liked the sound quilty for the price but I have to problems. One is it really hurts your ears after you play for like one hour. Then another problem is I had them for about for months then I took them off then at the part were it sits at the top of your head it just snapped in half.

I prefer my Gold wireless headset for more immersive game play (wires tend to distract me. Yes, like a cat.), BUT when I lose charge or my son wants to play, this is my go to gear!

I love the sound of it, can talk to friends, plus no need to wake the girlfriend and kids with late night game play

Great for a wired headset if you great sound and good gaming I am just prefer wireless

these headset aren't good the mic is always cutting out and after 2 months of using them headband cracks in middle of headphones sony need to make these headphones better next time they release newer model of the sony silver wired headsets

Purchased 4 months ago and stopped working today. Warranty is 90 days so I am out of luck. Probably not worth the $50. I have the wireless Sony headphones and they have worked well for the last 3+ years and are compatible with PS4.
