I originally walked in the store to purchase the JBL model. Luckily I walked by all of the display models and found this one to be more of what I wanted. This speaker packs a lot of sound into a small package, has very good battery life, and my son likes the fact that it lights up and flashes. I'm extremely happy with this product and it's cost

Easy to connect to. Excellent sound and volume. Perfect size.

This is the second one I bought as a gift. It has great bass and solid sound overall. Both my sons are enjoying them very much.

I recieved this XB30, in exchange for my honest review... Not impressed with the sound from this bluetooth speaker. It has a Bassy & Dull sound to it! For 150.00, it Lacks Highs badly... For example, I have a 40.00 Phillips bluetooth speaker ( SBT300), that plays Clearer than this Sony. Also, the 40.00 Phillips, is 3x larger than this SRS-XB30 Sony! While the Sony has decent Bass, it truely lacks High frequencies. Highs, come across muddy. If you like Bass, and leds, this bluetooth speaker module is for you. If you like clear high frequencies, as I do. I reccommend skipping this, Id rather have better performing Speakers, vs the flashing and color changing leds! I do like that rhis has a rechargable battery, built in. You can also plug your phone or mp3 player directly into this for audio, via 3.5mm adapter. As well as charging, via supplied usb rear input.

Enjoy the easy portable speaker at work. It's battery lasts my whole shift and it's bass has a crisp sound and the USB connect is a plus

This product gets loud!!! Another thing I like about this product is that the apps you download for it uses your music apps on your device such Pandora to play music. You can control how the lights strobe and change color. The bass is smooth, you can understand the vocals, and the highs are not overwhelmingly high.

Super loud and able to hear over loud machinery at work! Also love adjusting the sound by phone to enhance the sound

The speaker is great and work fine anywhere you are. It really does light up the room and make people want to dance.

Item has Bluetooth connectivity and a line input for non Bluetooth devices. Sound is great, and the bass boost works very well. Only down side is that it doesn't have a clear low battery signal. I actually returned my first one because the volume turned down for no reason. The battery light didn't turn on our anything. The second one did the same thing. I recharged the unit and it worked fine again. Barry life seems to be about 10 hours.

I really like this speaker, It is the 2nd one I have purchased. Unfortunately my first one was charged with an incorrect charging cable and shorted out my first one. That really sucked. So I got this replacement one. The bass is really good for the price, but I wish it could be 360 degree sound. It's okay it i not though, the sound is better than the 360 degree speakers.

I love this Sony XB-30 portable speaker. I have used it several times now and it lasts hours on a single charge. The sound quality is very good and the bluetooth feature allows me to use it in places where I can't access an outlet. The dancing lights are a nice feature but not something that is important to me.

It’s really loud and has bass! Definitely worth the money

I’m very happy with this speaker so far. The battery life is amazing!!! It’s easy to setup and the sound quality is very good. Better then my older Sony boom box. I plan to purchase another one and link them for birthday party’s for my girls. I think for the price it’s one of the better units available.

This Sony Bluetooth speaker has great big sound and it can sync with up to 9 other like speakers. Great buy.

Bought this to replace a JBL Charge that finally gave out after 3 years. Technology has moved the goalposts to where this one has twice the battery life, way deeper bass response, and a speaker phone feature and cool led lights which the JBL did not have for the same price. Solid build and excellent sound,

For the side of the speaker the sound is loud, has great bass, and clear sound. The flashing lights are cool.

Lots of bass for such a little speaker. Also battery last a long time.
