A: Yes, as mentioned, the lights are adjustable through the free downloadable SongPal app. Only it's now called (Sony) Music Center app. You'll have a bunch of options with the lights. Turning off is the first one. You can also adjust an equalizer through the app. I downloaded the app through Google's "Play Store".
A: The XB30 has an equalizer, allthough it is hidden inside the deepest of settings in the songpal app! So yes, there is an equalizer but you have to have the songpal app to change it!
