I had always thought the Beats Studio Wireless headphones were fantastic until I bought a set of these for my daughter. You have to hand it to Dr Dre and Apple for their marketing. These Sonys sound so much more detailed AND warmer than the Beats (or even Bose). We listen to a lot of classical recordings, and the sound differences are especially stark when you listen to instrumental (piano or violin) recordings (i.e., Deutsche Grammophon or EMI or Phillips... or Sony) where you want to hear those details instead of just blasting the bass. I guess we easily forget Sony was the original pioneers in portable consumer sound with the Walkman! The Extra Bass feature really serves to make instrumental recording sound warmer and richer than thumping. The only thing I like better on the Beats is the way they fold and come with a carrying case. And they sit a little slimmer. However, these Sonys are much more comfortable and simply crush the Beats if you care about sound quality and detail. They are currently half price for the 50th anniversary sale so a smoking deal.

I was debating on buying the Bose quiet comfort headphones and literally almost made the plunge, but then stumbled upon these bad boys and man am I happy I bought them. The sound quality is amazing! The wireless Bluetooth feature is also a huge plus as I am constantly moving around the house. If you are wanting to purchase a nice pair of headphones, don't go with anything other than these. They are what you want. Trust me.

My beats broke luckly had warranty. I decided to get these instead works with android via Bluetooth. Comfortable and sounds great.

Just got these and I am loving them. Wasn't expecting to be able to use them to answer calls on my phone which is definitely a nice bonus. Only thing that stinks is I can't figure out how to pair with multiple devices. Its possible I just can't figure it out but wish it was an option if not. Otherwise they are great headphones and I love the sound on them. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

These headphones far exceed my experience with Bose and Beats headphones. The bass is excellent and the sound quality is great. I have a larger size head and the Sony headphones fit great so if you are looking for a great headphone that is adjustable this is the one for you.

I gave these a 4 because of the questionable build quality (check various reviews around the internet to see pictures of the arms cracking), and because I get some intermittent, momentary skips in the music that I still need to look into to see if it's a connectivity issue on the headphone side or the signal (laptop/phone) side. At any rate, I listened to these in the store, and honestly wasn't impressed. I don't know if it's because of the player the store uses, but they were so bass-heavy, even with the bass boost off, that they didn't sound all that great, especially compared to the (pricier) Skullcrusher and JBL sets on display. However, I still bought them based on reviews, and figured I could always return them if they weren't up to par. The manual states that there are 3 quality modes available. Set to the highest quality, and playing music through equalizer-equipped mediums, these sound great. Battery life is great, comfort is great, although these are kind of gigantic and might look a little odd to wear in public. Overall, I'm skeptical of a few things, but for the $88 sale price, they seem solid so far.

These headphones fit very comfortably and sound great. Bluetooth was easy to set up.

Bought these to wear around the house while doing chores, and have been really impressed with these headphones. I compared these against basically all of the non-noise cancelling, wireless headphones...and found that these had the best sound through a wide range of music types. The adjustable bass is great for watching movies, when you don't need much of a bass boost. Once fully charged will last over 9 hours with the bass expansion on. Very easy to use controls. Now I take them anywhere I think I might want to listen to music without distracting anyone. Very happy with this purchase.

These headphones are great, the audio quality is superb, the design and the color (I bought the blue ones) look amazing, and they were for sale so no complaints here, if you're looking for a durable pair of headphones with great quality sound then look no further.

I use these headphones primarily while traveling. They sound great, and have very nice controls on the ear piece. Battery life has also been very good so far. They don't have noise cancellation which is not terrible, but would make these headphones an even better buy.

I have tried out a number of Bluetooth headphones, from high end and "popular" or "trendy" brands (not going to name any names), and these Sony headphones are excellent with the bass response, clarity, and comfortableness for long hours. I have purchased these for my sons as well and these headphones are top quality.

This headphones are of excellent sound quality and great battery life since they are Bluetooth. They are very comfortable, great for long listening sessions and the bass boost feature is very good. Would recommend to any music lover and bass head.

Great sound from these headphones. Controls are easy to use. Have used these with an iPhone and a Bluetooth transmitter attached to my television. Sometimes it takes several power cycles to get the audio to work even though the Bluetooth indicates the connection has been established. Inconsistent initial connection could be due to either device in the pair, in other words, the headphones may not be at fault for the connection problem. They fit nicely and appear to be of durable construction.

These headphones have a really good clear sound. They have nice Bass, which can be turned down on songs when it needs to be. The rechargeable battery life is good. They can be used wireless or wired.

I looked online & got advice from friends on FB, but had to go to the store to try these headphones out. Most people had given advice to purchase Bose or Beats......so glad I went to try them! These were far better sound quality than both of those brands (which were more expensive) because the base was more defined & clearer. The price was great & I am so happy I decided on these headphones!

Very comfortable, light weight, Nice Bass!! Can make and receive calls, pause, play, forward and rewind tracks! Has headphone jack input, doesn’t say noise canceling but definitely cancels out sounds and of course Bluetooth

These headphones sounded much clearer when testing in store as compared to the skull candy version and the beats which both had displays next to these. The bass is excellent on these and makes watching movies with them really enjoyable because it makes it seem like you're in your own little theater. I bought these to take on a 6 hour flight and they were comfortable to leave on for the entire flight. The Bose sounded a little better than these, but for 3X the price (the Sony was on sale) it was not worth it for just a little bit of sound improvement. Would definitely recommend these since they are very comfortable and sound much better than most of the competition.
