I purchased these headphones after being blown away by the Sony Extra Bass Earbuds and their great sound. These take the killer quality and comfort of those earbuds and kick it up a couple of notches. Super comfortable to wear all day, amazing sound quality with bass response that is nearly second to none at 2 Hz. When I have these babies running wirelessly, the range is better than I expected. And if I'm not receiving enough "thump" to please me, I hit that bass boost and the headphones will vibrate on your head. Skullcandy has a pair of headphones that tries to trick you into thinking it has great bass response because they use a second set of drivers that simply vibrate to mimic the feel of deep bass response. The Sony's will vibrate BECAUSE of the killer bass response. I have found that I enjoy the sound of these headphones the most when I have the audio cable plugged in. The sound seems slightly more balanced and more open. The only downsides to these guys is that the audio in jack on the bottom is extremely small. If I want longer a longer reach from my cable, I have to use a headphone extender. Also, they don't fold up very much which can sometimes be a pain when traveling while space is an issue. Other than that, I have no complaints! I use these for walking around campus, playing games on my computer, or just wanting to rock out to music! I don't have to worry about disturbing others because the sound bleed is almost non-existent. I would definitely recommend these to someone that are looking at Beats or Bose but wanting to save $100+. Do yourself a favor and pick some up!

I have bought a few different pairs of headphones for my son. Most of the time, he will use them only a few times before he complains about them. He has been using these for over a month and only says how much he likes them. Great buy!

I tried every one in the store. For the price, I thought that was the best sound. They also matched a lower price I found online. That made the decision even easier. I wanted over the ear when I travel, but I didn't want to spend $300+.

I originally bought these headphones in March 2016 of this year and instantly fell in love with them, however after maybe a month of having them the right side cracked. I went back to the Best Buy store I bought them from, received a refund and got another pair because I thought I'd give them another shot. I was so nervous about them breaking again that I didn't start using them until late September 2016 and once again it cracked on the right side two days ago. I tried to find my warranty that I paid for under my Best Buy account and can't find it anywhere. I will call tomorrow to see if the store could help me and hopefully I will get a full refund.

In the beginning it was great it connected to my ipad and it gave me a great frequency response range. I play bass and double bass and fortunately it gave me what my bass is supposed to sound. Unfortunately once i paired it with my ipad i would pair with my phone or laptops.. So i returned them. Overall great product.

I use these at the gym connected to a Galaxy S7. Sound is excellent and the headphones block out a lot of the other noise. Reasonably comfortable and snug although I don't run, may not be good to that. Headphone controls are easy enough to commit to memory, volume up, down, track skip and back.

The sound with these head phones is amazing especially with the base...however I can't walk 10 feet from my phone or walk around the corner without the connection getting lost. My daughter loves hers however so it's all in what you want

Purchased this at managers recommendation and gave it to my son as a Chrismas gift when he opened it and tried to charge it it did not charge he tried to exchange it not having to receipt on him and the Best Buy associate denied his request for an even exchange . Poor customer service and poor product .

Purchased these headphones for my son for Christmas 2015, not even a year old and they are broke, they broke at point where the head phone meets the curve band that goes over your head, that is also a swivel point and made of plastic, a very very weak point. Contacted Sony and will not honor warranty, not worth the $$$$.

I would go with Bose or another product before buying these.

Only issue is that you can only get about 20 feet from the phone before they cut out. Probably not a big deal for most people but it you work in an office like me and find yourself setting your phone down it can be annoying.

I got these on Black Friday and glad I did. They are a good satisfactory pair of ear phones. Sound is good could be better for retail price. This should probably retail for 99 bucks. I wouldn't pay to much over that. Overall I would give 6.5 out 10

I tried on several different headphones and did loads of research. These headphones not only sound excellent, but are also stylish and versatile with the base booster and bluetooth. Definitely a top new contender in the headphone market. And at the current price you're paying a lot less then competitors Bose and Dre Beats. Definitely a great value for your money! The calling feature is Crystal clear. Paired with an equalizer these bad boys will last a long time. The only two things I don't like are that they don't come with a travel case. They also don't break down at all so they're not as compact. Although the later is not a completely bad thing because they seem more sturdy than others with hinges. All in all the craftsmanship and quality are spot on with other more expensive alternatives. Definitely happy with my purchase.

This was a Christmas gift for my oldest granddaughter and she uses them all the time and loves them. The only problem is the youngest granddaughter wants to use them all the time also. They were a great gift and well liked.

We have them all... Bose, Beats, wireless Beats, and now these. The sound from these Sony - Extra Bass Headphones is as good as any of our previously purchased headphones at a fraction of the price . You will be amazed!

I tried these several times at various locations and compared them to everything in the price range and sound quality. I found them to out perform comparable items and out value all the others. These will blow you away!

These headphones are great! The extra bass boost is nice when you want it without sacrificing the mids and highs! However, the bass can be a bit "muddy" if the source is already mixed with an emphasis on the low end.

My daughter purchased them as a Christmas present for my husband, his best present from her in years! He didn't like earbuds they were constantly falling out of his ears, not anymore The quality of the music is awesome.

These were a gift for my daughter. She loves them and she says they sound great. Also, I don't hear what she's listening to. I tried them and found them to be very comfortable to wear and I agree that they sound great.

These headphones are incredible. The sound and quality are outstanding. And the extra bass boost is awesome. I'm looking forward to using these a long time. They are sturdy and well built and the battery last a long time.
