I wanted something with more BASS and this delivered it. I only use it around the house. I wouldn't travel or workout with these.

These are very clear for listening to movies and music. I love the fact that I can connect to my Dish hopper and listen to tv without wires.

The wireless bluetooth does not currently work with Windows 10. I have been told it can be fixed by changing registry in Windows 10 but I have not been able to do so yet.

On sale for $90 from $200, how could you go wrong? Waiting for sale again to purchase more pairs for the rest of the family.

I got these for Christmas and they have been the best headset I own. I have no noise while listening to my music!! so nice.

The Sony Extra Bass Wireless over-the-ear headphones are designed for anyone who likes to listen to music with heavy bass. These headphones are perfect for anyone who likes to run or lift and not have to worry about hitting a cord. But they also are perfect for anyone who enjoys listening to music while travelling or just sitting around. In my personal experience this is the best pair of Bluetooth headphones that you can buy for $200, because of all of the features that come with these headphones. Features that are included in the headphones are tactile buttons on each headphone to help control both volume of the music and to skip songs if you want. There is also a microphone inside of the headphones to help those who do not want to take their phone out of their pocket. Lastly is the Bass boost button which allows you to turn the bass up more for those who want it. I used many different criteria when deciding on which pair of headphones to buy next. The three most important are comfort, sound quality, and the ability to travel well. Comfort is the first thing I thought of when I saw these headphones because of how big the ear cups and the headband are, and it did not disappoint one bit. I listen to music for hours on end while I do my homework, and these headphones have still yet to get uncomfortable. Next is sound quality, the sound quality is good but not great. With the Bass boost initiated the sound turns into great instantly for anyone who really enjoys a nice bass with their music. The Bass boost does make the battery for wireless listening die faster, but only about 10% faster than normal. Lastly, the ability to travel. These headphones travel really well I have taken them everywhere with me and they haven’t broken down, or died on me in the middle of a trip. It also helps to make sure they are well charged before you start a long trip. As I said earlier for the $200 price tag these headphones carry they are well worth it because of the features, so if you are looking for an alternative to Dr. Dre headphones here they are.

I will be yet another member whom has done extensive research on which over-the-ear head phones to purchase. I will also add I am a typical Beats user and swear by their urBeats (when working) and PowerBeats2 (when working out) and I’ve yet to find a better pair, so I am NOT a Beats hater. Going back to the wireless XB950’s I will have to say these are the best pair of head phones I have ever owned. I did every version of Beats over the ear and spent the extra money on the wireless, but I will have to say they honestly don’t match these Sony’s (ESPECIALLY with the Bass Booster on)! It is not only the sound, but the comfort. I travel extensively for work and needed comfort over the ear (no other head phone could compare, and earbuds start to hurt my inner ear after a few hours use). Because I listen to music on a daily basis and travel weekly I needed headphones that I would use often, just as much as I need my coffee lol. So money was not an issue in this one instance. With that, I have purchased the high-end of various brands to include my beloved Beats, but all-in-all, the Sony XB950’s are everything I could have ever wanted and more. Finally I will admit that I enjoy EDM for a pick me up and bass to me is everything, again, the XB950’s just simply got it right and really topped Apple/Beats on this one. Please do yourself a favor and purchase these over spending the money on Beats (for over-the-ear of course). I can swear you will more than excited with the purchase, again, especially if you like a good sounding bass!

I listen to music at home and at work everyday. 90% of the time I will use my Sony earbuds which were good and did the job. I needed something a little more dynamic and able to cancel out more noise with more bass. After reading some reviews I ended up buying this on a whim. All I can say is I'm completely blown away. The battery life is excellent. The bass is out of this world. The fact that you still plug it in to a 2.5mm jack to turn it into a traditional headphone is amazing. Lastly these headphones are comfy. I wear them everywhere. The only negative is your wife might get even more upset about you for ignoring her ha.

Better than Beats!!!!!! Words can't describe the greatness in these headphones. The noise canceling feature is phenomenal.

It's not a great noice cancellation headphone. With the extra bass active it's better but you'll still hear your background.

We wished we would have spent more dollars for total noiseless. But these are very nice. If looking for something in this price range a person would enjoy these.
