Great sound....great product.... but the head band breaks easily. Would definitely recommend you get a warranty as I did.. I've replaced them twice.

I read the online reviews first but then decided to go to the store to really get the experience. I looked like an idiot running back and forth between the Beats by Dre side and the Sony side. But honestly these were the better price for the same sound quality (which is EXCELLENT) I really like the bass boost option on these. And they're incredibly comfortable. I've been wearing them for the last 4 hours and could probably fall asleep in them. LOVE!!!

I have concerns over the longevity of the head band. Feels flimsy. Ok for now but will have to handle with more care as compared to Beats headset

I bought this to work with my TV. It seems it only works with PORTABLE televisions, so I will return it. Best Buy has a wonderful return policy.

The mic picks up all the noise in the room. As a personal mic it sucks. As a room mic it rocks!

I recieved these as a gift for use with my ps4, pc and cell phone. Unfortunately these do not work with the ps4 so they were returned.

They do what they are supposed to do. Have some static sometimes. Good buy if they are on sale. Otherwise spend the extra and buy jbl.

These headphones are durable and produce excellent sound!

ok, the speaker quality is decent but they're very heavy and the insides of the hedphones are made with foam that is very hot.

I have been browsing for several weeks undecided on which pair of wireless/bluetooth headphones would be my next. I spotted these at a Sony launch party this year and was very pleased with overall sound and fit. Not to mention these are the best looking over the ear headphones I've seen to date. Either you like the cans or you don't. I'm a huge fan of the simple/matte finish and brushed stainless head strap. They are not noise cancelling but my best guess is they block out 60%-75% of outside noise and once audio is playing at any level you can't hear any outside noise. I am not a big Beat fan but will admit their Studio is a good sounding unit. I am happy to say the MDR-XB950BT is on par if not past the Beats Studio for sound quality. The bass boost feature is an added bonus. By no means do you need it on for normal listening but is fun to click on for those head bobbing, bass bumping favorite songs. I was fully prepared to pay $199 for these but to my pleasant surprise they were on sale for $99. These are a no brainer for sub $200 headphones that have sound and quality matched to $300+ sets. $99 or $199 treat yourself to these great looking and sounding headphones.

This headphones are just sensational. Amazing sound quality, great comfort, nice battery life and powerful bass. Highly recommended

Kind a pricy but the worst is....it doesn't work...had to download app but still won't work..returned and got a different brand..

I did extensive research on these BT headphones, and they are truly phenomenal. For the past 20 years I have only bought Bose, then Beats products. When Sony started to reemerge in the headphones game, I was definitly skeptical; however, these headphones are 1) VERY easy to connect to your BT devises, 2) Deep rich sound with or without the bass enabler on 3) More comfortable than both Beats Pro and Bose.

Wouldn't sync with playstation 4. Employee from your store told me they would. Big waste of money. They just lay on my shelf.

I was at Best Buy yesterday on the Black Friday/ Cyber Monday sale. I really wanted new headphones and was picking between the Sonys and the Beats Studios. I really liked the beats studio which were $200, but then I realized that they weren't Bluetooth! And to get the wireless studios you have to spend around $300! So I was picking which ones to buy, then I came across these Sony XB MDR950 (btw Sony please change the naming on your headphones). I was really shocked on how crisp these headphones were! A bit better than the Studios. I'm not even talking about the Bass because that just is amazing, and can't be compared to beats. I just had to get myself a pair. They were $100! That's just incredible, meanwhile their usual price is $200. To be honest I would of bought them for $200. So I was deciding between the Sonys or the Beats. I got to be honest Beats have some amazing noise cancellation system. If the Sonys had active noise cancellation they would of been the best. Anyways that's not a reason to spend $200 more on beats. I bottom line, these headphones are amazing you should get them, you will be amazed!

Plastic broke within a year. Good sound but cheap craftsman ship.

Bought to use when sleeping and to not disturb family. However they are difficult to use when laying down.

I purchased on sale and product is good for price, a little too much bass even without pressing bass button

Not bad but,take time sometime to connect and cut out every now and then,should be 100 buck not worth 150bucks

Nice pair of headphones, but a little overpriced and doesn't even have Active Noise Canceling feature.
