I was in the market for high end headphones and I like heavy bass songs and electronic music, so it was either these or Beats Audio... The looks and the price of Sony definitely caught my attention especially after playing around with the shelf displays, I had to have them! Great outside sound dampening paired with crisp treble and hard hitting bass! I love this headphones!

These headphones impressed me to the max. The treble is crisp and concise and the bass is deep but not distorted. It's really beneficial that you can use these headphones as wired or wireless (via bluetooth), you rarely see hybrid headphones like this. The mic for phone calls also works really well. I'm really pleased with my purchase and Sony did a great job with these next level headphones. Glad they can now play with the big boys.

Great quality for the price. Comfortable and sound is great. Bass boost is a real plus.Charges at a decent pace and stays charged for a long time.

I chose these head phones over Beats because the price was great and they are crystal clear but also have the thump that you look for in head phones. These are well balanced and if you are a sound clarity person like me...then you will love them!!!!

I used these headphones while watching movies almost the entire 8-hour flight to Paris last month. My ears never hurt as the padded cup was very soft and large enough to cover the entire ear.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter after she fell in love with the pair I had bought for my son. These are an upgrade from the pair I got my son last year, and the extra bass and Bluetooth capability are both excellent features! If you are considering the Beats headphones, I would suggest you consider these as your first option. The only possible negative thing I could say is that they are just black, but as I look for quality first, color is not a big deal.

Bought these for my daughter who absolutely loves them. Cordless is a great feature and the sound is excellent. Very comfortable ear cushions.

I use these for transcribing so they're on my head sometimes 12 hours a day. The ear cushions are very plush and the weight on my head isn't bad at all (my prior ones were heavy and gave me a headache). The sound quality is very clear. I don't use the extra bass boost as I don't need to since I'm listening to voices speaking and not music. I had trouble using them with the Bluetooth (technology frustrates me sometimes!) with it losing connection, so I just plug them in using the audio jack -- no problem and no worry about charging this way!

If you want headphones with amazing bass, this is a great choice. I will say that after about an hour or so, even with very padded ear cups, these headphones can get a bit uncomfortable, at least for me. But they are built well and look stylish.

Headphones are great quality. Can listen to music with base and comfortable to wear. Would recommend.

Ok I am a big fan and owner of Bose products, the QC25's are awesome, but they are totally different. First wired not Bluetooth, second low end (sub) sound just not there. After trying several different headphones I finally found a keeper and it's these Sony. Wow the sound clarity is spot on, plus if you want that body shaking sub effect, just press the low boost control and boom! I can sync to my phone, crank up the audio and enjoy live concert level without disturbing anyone else. Caution, not for use by people with loose teeth, they will fall out.

This headphones are excellent for bass lovers. If you love listening to music that is heavy in bass, this is the headphone to get. Music that is not heavy in bass will sound okay, not the best. But overall they are superb. Comfort level is great. I can wear these for more than an hour and it still won't bother my ears. I usually don't take them out of my home because they are bulky. Bluetooth range is good. Compatible with my iPhone.

Sound is excellent. Bass boost button is amazing feature sound is clear and you can wear them for long periods of time without them feeling heavy.

I bought these after returning Skullcandy Crusher headphones which didn't fit my ears. Not that I have abnormally large ears, but their shape just didn't work. Back to Sony: These headphones pair easily with iPhone, iPad and laptops. The sound is clear and loud without distortion. The bass is deep without being muddled. The only complaint I have is that they feel like marshmallows around your ears, which is not a bad thing initially, but after a while they do get sweaty and a bit uncomfortable. But the quality, sound and unobtrusive look make them a fantastic buy when they are on sale for $129. Try them in the store and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Was looking for beats but these sound and feel way better, changed my mind and with the black Friday deal even better

After reading many reviews and seeing it on sale on Black Friday I decided to take the plunge. I was looking for a quality pair of headphones for at home use. I mainly listen to hip hop and Dance/house etc, basically bass heavy music. Quality low's are important in any audio purchase I make. These headphones deliver in that department. Even without using the "bass boost" these headphones still put out great sound. I have had no issues with the bluetooth connection and you can even plug them in like regular headphones if the battery is running low. The headphones are very comfortable as well and it takes hours of constant wear before I get ear fatigue. These dont suffer from low volume over bluetooth like my jaybirds either. I would recommend these to anyone whose looking for a pair of wireless headphones with solid sound.

I'm new to headsets. I am very pleased with this product. It has good quality sound. And I use it to for making phone calls in noisy places. It does a decent job on blocking out the noise. Except one time someone on the other end said I was unclear. (it might have been low batter OR bad speakers on their end)

Exactly what I would expect from Sony. Sound is great and very comfortable. Battery life very good.
