Loud, clear, booming bass, and it connects quickly to our portable devices. I haven't tried out the guitar amp connection, but I suspect it works great as well.

We're so thrilled to hear you like the lightweight design and great bass response, and overall performance of your new Sony speaker. We're sorry to hear that the volume level did not live up to your expectations. By downloading the Sony Music Center app, you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune the speaker using the built-in EQ and maximize the volume to ensure optimal listening experience. To get the most out of the volume, turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device. You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different types of audio compression and transmission. • While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction. • If the sound becomes low while in use, follow the procedure below. 1. Turn off the speaker. 2. Charge the built-in battery sufficiently.
