Impressive outdoor sound

While it's not exactly small it's still somewhat portable. A shoulder strap would be nice but not a deal breaker once you hear the sound. The wind and waves did not drown out this speaker at all. Very impressive sound and bass in outdoor settings! The battery lasted all day with still plenty of life left after lots of use.

I loved this speaker so much. It got super loud and my passengers and I had a blast riding around listening to it. Great battery like, too. Also, it was very durable. It dropped off my bike once while I was riding, but was totally fine after. 10/10 would recommend.

Great speaker.

Use it in a large shop sounds great and gets decently loud. Battery holds solid about 8-12 hours at around 50-70% volume. Good bluetooth range. Great on all types of music nice highs and mids. Mostly tested on country, rock, and some EDM. Solid bass.

Amazing speaker!

This is a sound system both indoors and out. I compared this to a similar speaker by JBL that costs over $100 more and decided to go with this because I love Sony and love the lights and overall extra features of this speaker.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I chose Sony's boombox at $449.99 over (1) UE's HYPERBOOM Portable Bluetooth Party Speaker - Black Model:984-001591 SKU:6398427 at $399.99, and (2) JBL's Boombox 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black Model:JBLBOOMBOX2BLKAM SKU:6400615 at $499.99 for these reasons: (a) I think it looks the best of all three -- the fabric covering takes a beating without scratching and I like the lights on the ends, (b) the sound is comparable (though I didn't compare side-by-side, (c) the Sony can play off a little USB of my music that stick in the back -- where there is also a guitar jack, (d) the battery time is the best of all three, and (e) it was the only one of the three available. Despite this last reason, I truly am pleased with this purchase, and I would earnestly recommend it. I like and trust Sony products.

Best Bluetooth Speaker On The Market

It jammed out all night. So I purchased an addtional speaker for a private bachelor party event. With the surround sound capabilities these speakers had the whole party rocking, so much so, I got a complaint from the air BNB host that the party was “Way To Loud”. Lol. These speakers also have blinking lights, so evertyime the base hits, it blinks different colors. Def worth every penny for sure.

It’s built really well, had great sound quality, and the battery life is amazing. Has a great range for volume and the bass is clear and strong. Would recommend if you need a large speaker, especially for indoor/outdoor use

Awesome Speaker

It is quick to connect and sounds great and can get pretty loud too. I really like that you can charge other devices through the speaker while it is playing. Come in handy during power outages at home. Battery life is pretty good as well.

Great small party speaker

I'd go for one of the larger ones if you're having a bigger party or something but for a couple friends over or out on the patio, this thing rocks. The integrated handle is perfect to carry it around and the batter seems to last forever. Plenty of juice to last a full day on the go easy even at higher volumes, probably two and maybe even a full third. Also keeps your phone or whatever charged too

Great speaker

Used at 3/4 volume in a factory I can easily take over as the DJ. At home, bass will rattle the house, which is crazy for a speaker this size. Had for going on 3 years, battery still holds 8-10 hours at 3-4 volume.

Best Portable Speaker I’ve owned

The first time I turned it to max volume, I was thoroughly surprised . Sound quality is pretty good . But JBL boombox beats this speaker in quality but it is a very close second. It is actually very easy to carry around. Battery lasts very long. And the light show gives it a nice touch.

I purchased to use to play our soundtrack at a high school I coach at. It wasn’t quite loud enough for my group to hear in the basketball gym. But for tailgating or everyday use, it’s pretty loud with great bass!
