By downloading the Sony Music Center app, you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune the speaker using the built-in EQ and maximize the volume to ensure optimal listening experience. To get the most out of the volume, turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device. You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different types of audio compression and transmission.

Device connected and environment or surroundings plays a vital part when listening to music. Playing music in a big open space may cause audio quality issues. You may find this link helpful.

If you choose to contact Sony support, please provide photos, and exactly how the speaker was damaged. We take the longevity of our products very seriously, and if we can improve the design, or make a speaker that fits your lifestyle your feedback would be valuable.

Unfortunately, our free 1-year limited warranty does not cover accidental damage. BestBuy does offer additional coverage, at an additional cost, that would cover accidental damage.
