Great phone. Solid processor, decent battery, very nice screen resolution. Phone feels more high end and has a great feel in my hand as well. I like the minimalist bezels on the sides, adds to the screens quality when watching videos! Well done Sony. Camera isn't too shabby either by the way!

So I read reviews played with the phone a little in the store before I bought it. To start the keyboard is very touchy. I don't do swype so it tends to have a mind of its own. When have tried to use swype it rarely gets the right word. The Bluetooth is horrible. It will not connect to my car with out being prompted to. Pandora does not run smoothly. The audio on the phone is craptastic at best. I work 12 hours a day on a service drive of a car dealership. I use my phone a lot for work. Customers call text and email me. I need a phone that has a battery that will last. This one while charging extremely fast also dies when you use it. The camera is a high point but everything else is a let down.

Nice looking phone and a right size. Very good Sony UI, no complains there. Major issue - once you are in an office/building NO SIGNAL. I checked the battery statistic and it showed there was no signal about 40% of the time. The battery losses charge so quickly! Sometimes 10% in 1 hour! My old Samsung could loose only 10% at the same place! Moto 4g which I also tried could loose only about 9% at the end of day. Tried another phone, same thing. The battery losses charge so quickly! Sometimes 10% in 1 hour! The battery lost 7% during 2,5 hours while I played soccer. The phones were really good at home, where I have a good signal and WiFi. The batteries would not go down even 1% during a night. Just unreliable! Stay away.

I bought it for my friend and he wanted a good phone in less money and he found it superb.. works smoothly. Screen size and quality is un-beatable.

Issues present: 1) Android 6 upgrade is available and utilized. But major features, such as adoptable SD storage, are completely disabled in the GUI. 2) The operating system and bloat apps take nearly 7-8GB of the 16GB onboard. This leaves just shy of 5.5 free for yourself. 3) The above two do not go together well. Without knowing command line to force android (even unrooted) to use adoptable storage you will run out of room extremely quickly. Especially if installing games. 4) No gyro. Google cardboard will not work, nor any apps for it. 5) There is next to no information on rooting and/or working with this phone due to it's locked down nature. No you cannot put cyanogen mod on it. And you need the android SDK itself to even unlock the bootloader the "official" way. All that said there are positives. 1) Amazing battery life. Nearly 7 hours of on-screen. 2) Music quality is good. 3) Xperia music and video player are top notch and support all natively supported formats except opus, and have chromecast support. 4) The music enhancement engine and video enhancement engine are quite nice. However the video one is disabled should the bootloader be unlocked. Flat out, this is a good phone...if you want it to last long and won't be using it for any sort of gaming that isn't items like GB, GBC, etc. If you're a power user or heavy mobile gamer do NOT be fooled by the specs. You literally will not be able to do anything with them outside of what Sony alots you to do.

Bought it for my father, and it was good for first two years. Honestly, not bad for $150 and works well for 2 years.

I was a little weary buying a Sony phone but now I am very glad I did. I've had 2 Xperia phones and both have been very durable and built well overall.

Looks good add premium phone. No complaints regarding battery or display. It might slow down a bit in future but worth for the price I got it for.

I took the phone home and plugged it to the charger. Was surprised to see the phone was completely dead while charging ( 4 hours! ), It would not turn on or anything. After it was charged 100% , then for another hour the phone would not turn on. So the next day I put it in the box and returned it to the Best Buys.

Does not work with AT&T as advertised.

I purchased this phone to use with AT&T. The item description states: "Compatible with GSM carriers, including AT&T and T-Mobile". I took the phone to an AT&T store to have it activated, but it would not connect to AT&T's network. Two different employees tried with two different sim cards. I returned the phone to Best Buy and I was charged a $35 re-stocking fee. If you are an AT&T customer, do not buy this phone unless you wish to donate $35 to Best Buy.
