I bought this as i lost my T-mobile phone Pros: Camera is awesome, slim phone for anybody likes it light Cons: Because of the slim nature, you need a case for sure Memory 16GB exhausted with just 6 Apps, it is so irritating Signal is so bad. My partners I-phone works so well in the same house but Sony has a terrible signal strength everything else is ok and optional Overall: Don't Buy it is a waste of money, buy 32 GB atleast

    Would Not Buy Again

I bought this phone on 11/22/16 and the glass screen has already cracked. I have had several phones over the last 9 years (I'm always wanting the next best thing) and this is the first time that I have EVER had a cracked screen!! Yes, it was accidentally dropped ONE TIME, and the screen cracked. I dropped my previous phone (note 4) several times and never had anything wrong with it! The Sony Xperia Xa Ultra is a really heavy phone and that's why I dropped it. I got it out of my pocket and the weight of the phone is something I'm not use to and it slipped right out of my hands. The buttons on the side are really oddly placed! The power button is in the middle on the side. The volume button is right under it and towards the bottom is a button for the camera. Very annoying! The battery life is not forgiving either. It sucks. If you text a lot and Facebook here and there, this is not the phone for that as far as the battery is concerned. As for repairs on the phone, it's expensive IF you can find anyone around that will work on a Sony phone! I live in a big town and of all the places here, only ONE place will work on it. Replacing the screen is $140! Best Buy doesn't even work on them. You also cannot set individual message tones for anyone. You can set individual Ringtones, but not message tones. As soon as I get the money, I'm getting away from this phone!! The only good things about this phone is the size and the bright display.

    Great phone but faulty OS

My Iphone got the touch disease. And out of warranty, so I decided to try an android phone. It's big 6 in screen attracted me to it. It worked fine for a few days, then I noticed that the OS is very buggy and unreliable. It wouldn't pick up wifi at work. I'd have to reboot it. When it did connect and disconnect when I left home, it wouldn't automatically connect to my home wifi. I had to reboot it to connect. I was like okay, I'll just not connect at work. Then a week into it, when I called my wife, she didn't hear anything. The microphone was out on phone call, verified by several other calls. It worked after I rebooted. It's a nice effort by Sony, if it would have worked without these glitches, I would have given it a 5 stars and converted to sony. But it's a beta version of a phone, not reliable. Definitely not worth $360. You can get a BLU or Huawai for ~$100. So I can't recommend it. I returned it within 9 days. Thank God for BBY!

I purchased this phone because it's design stood out to me. Throughout the time that I had it I've noticed several major issues first being when I was on 4G the signal would go dead and it would completely dropped calls. I also noticed that the battery would lose charge very fast. After noticing these major issues I return the phone and after going through the third one I finally decided to go with a different unlocked phone. I would highly recommend if indeed you want to save yourself from major headaches not to purchase this item.

Nice phone..TERRIBLE battery life. Beware! The battery is way too small for a phone this size. Sony may have a had a hit if they had used a larger battery. This battery drains FAST. I returned this phone FAST! YIKES!!!
