We thought Sony has a great camera but this phone doesn’t really have the clear picture .

I've had this phone for a week and love the size, speed and interface. Unfortunately, the camera is only so-so. The deal breaker is that this phone is extremely fragile. I had a case on it and despite having gorilla glass, the screen cracked on it's very first drop. A- for looks, but C- for durability.

Not happy, two days after purchase I locked the phone, can't remember pin, tried 1k+ different combos, brought it to Best buy, they couldn't open phone and would not return my 2 days old/unused and useless phone.

Picked up the phone, broke the next day... After charging the phone a few hours, the fully charged green light was on, but the phone screen was black. The phone would not turn on so I had to trade it in for a different brand. I honestly wanted this phone, tragic ending. I couldn't afford trying this brand again.

It's an OK unlocked phone for the price... Too slow for my taste. Meaning slow response in navigating between apps and camera needs improvement.

Sony to make something like this in the new age of mobile is ridiculous. This phone can not multi task. If you are using another app or even recieving a phone call the app stops and you have to reload it. Playing music is the same issue do not use a third party app like Spotify and get a phone call. Terrible device from a company that should know better. Good phone for an 8-10 year old. Adults stay away...you have been warned.

Initially, I loved this phone, screen is beautiful, sound is amazing. But, after 3 weeks, the phone froze and was completely broken. Looking at Google, this happens all the time. For this reason, I do not recommend the phone.

Less than three months in and the phone was rebooting on its on. There are times when the screen will go blank and I have to remove the Sim card to get the phone back on. The camera does not have a front flash. Overall I am not pleased with the purchase.

The phone is known and recognized for its issue powering itself off. The device will not turn back on unless you plug the charger into the phone, regardless of how charged the battery is.

The price is right for this little honey of a smart phone. I despise the debt slavery phone leasing programs and always buy my phones outright, so a new phone is a big purchase for me. I have been an iPhone user since the first model was rolled out with AT&T and have been (and remain) an avid Mac computer user. My iPhone was recently giving me problems and I just didn't want to spend money on a new one. It seems that the Apple tech has not improved enough to warrant their consistent increases in price over the last few models. In looking elsewhere for a phone, I found this Sony Xperia. First off, it is a very aesthetically pleasing device, which drew my attention. It feels good in the hand, very solid and ergonomic. As I have always had good luck with Sony products, I took the plunge and bought it upon a recent markdown. The first few days it was touch and go, as I have never used or owned an Android phone. After about a week, all of my Apple withdrawal symptoms subsided and I now cannot believe I was so stuck on Apple for so long. The camera on this phone is superb. You have to learn how to use it to get the most out of the 23MP, and can adjust it down if need be. The battery life is excellent and I love that I can use my standard USB-C cord with it. That makes life a lot easier. It also has a headphone jack, another plus. It is very fast and responsive, with a finger-print sensor that actually works. Initially, the major drawback was its lack of iMessage, which has ended up being a major positive. Though I love this device, I am not constantly texting on it as I often was on my iPhone. I feel as though it has given me back some healthy boundaries in terms of my phone use. At $150, there is really not much to complain about with this device. It is a winner.

I returned this phone to Best Buy two days after purchase because I was unable to connect to telephone or to internet service. I purchased another company's phone in its stead.

There are three things I must have in a cell phone (besides being able to make phone calls, of course). Good battery life, a good camera, and speaker loudness. All three are a plus on this phone. Battery lasts more than a day (compared to a couple of hours on my LG G5). Camera wasn't all that impressive at first -- read some reviews, downloaded the Open Camera app and I am well pleased with the pics now. Finally, the speaker is loud enough to hear in my car. No issues with phone call quality or sending/receiving/texts. I have noticed a occasional lag in some apps, but not a deal killer. Wish it had Wi-Fi calling on T-Mobile, though. Limited cases and screen protectors, though the case BB sells is good.

    Best unlocked mid range phone

Every 6-12 months I sell my phone on ebay and buy a new one. I like mid range phone's that allow for one handed use with solid specs. Here's what I love about this phone and why I say it's the best in this spec and price range: Great processing power, always smooth. Impressive screen quality and size. Battery lasts almost 2 days. Smaller bezels than last year's model. Awesome camera, the low light pics have really amazed me. Android Oreo out the box. Nice feel in hand. Looks slick in blue. Very good speaker volume.
