Overall, Sound City is a great album. I wasn't overly excited after my first listen, but the classic rock sound keeps me going back for more. There is one track "Your Wife is Calling" which is too crazy for my taste, but otherwise i am glad I bought the album.

As can be expected from these collaboration type CDs some of the songs are hits and some are misses but it's highly going to be dependent on the listener. Personally I found enough enjoyable tracks here to make it a good purchase.

I found only one weak song on the disc; Grohl put up a great line-up of super artists performing at their best. It was nice to hear Stevie Nicks belting it out on a tune that would have hit the charts when she was really in her prime.

u will not be disappointed. old sounds meet new material. classic foo just like u know. hope to cacth them at the rudder next summer

This is a great collaboration of rock greatest faces. I also ebjoyed the different sounds it has to offer.

It's ok. Not my favorite but my husband loves it. I listen to it though

Looking for a diverse set of songs by an equally diverse set of musicians? If so, I recommend you give this disc a spin. Some excellent pairings of incredibly talented musicians and a real satisfying listen.
