Hands down, best TWS buds on the market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From the perspective of an iOS user. I've tried and have owned many TWS buds, always seeking the next latest and greatest. A little history, I was the one years ago, that bought Earin TWS when it was not known how it would sky rocket nowadays, a good 2 years before AirPods, which in my opinion, started the whole movement. Of course, I've owned AirPods, PowerBeats Pro, Klipsch T5, B&O Beoplay2's, a few Taotronic's, Sony WF-1000X, etc..so this would span the budget to mid range to premium buds. Here's why I think these Soundcores tops them all: Pros: - at the price point, this would fall into midrange category, but I believe the sound imo goes upwards into premium territory - box feels premium, and although the buds and case are rather bland, they dont feel budget - case has a nice, smooth matte finish to it that repels fingerprints and feels nicely assembled, no hard plastics - USC-C is nice (and has a nice flap to cover it), but I'm going to mainly use Xi wireless charging to top off every few days - battery life has been immense. Used for about 3 hours straight, buds still say 100% left - lots of silicone tips (7 in total), and 3 different sized wing-tips (s, m, l) and while they are not necessary, they do add a comfort level to the buds and makes them more secure - now onto the sound, which is pretty rich and spatial (the tech they crammed into here may be a gimmick, but its working) the sound is definitely better than most $150 buds on the market and if you're lucky to get them at an early bird discount, even better - now, its not advertised that there is noise canceling (active), they do state that it is active for voice calls, however, i do feel it blocks out a lot of ambient noise so it may be turned on for music in general (like other ANC's like the Sony's, I do hear a slight hiss when the buds are paired but no music/sound is playing) this does not happen with other buds w/o ANC, such as PBP's. - Soundcore app (for iOS, Android) is pretty robust, you can adjust EQ settings to your heart's desire and their is a custom feature to make your own signature profile based on your own ears (but I feel this is a gimmick as well) - latency: what latency? usually all buds i've tried in the pass (except for Apple products with their in-house chips), has lag when it comes to videos/games (especially YouTube) I've tested these with an Apple iPhone X with most major video apps such as Netflix, HBO Now, Prime Videos, Hulu and even...drumroll...YouTube and there is no lag! On par with AirPods/PBP's...not sure how Anker pulls this off - one bud use, say if you want to use only the left one while the right one is charging (or not used), that works really well - and finally, Price! it rocks for this price, compared to Sennheisers, Master & Dynamic, B&O, Klipsch cons: - as far as the buds themselves, they are pretty big, even if you have Will Smith ears, and they tend to stick out (where else can you cram a large battery into?) - i'm not sure how these will hold up after continuous use as the build quality to me is where they cut a little corner to keep the price down - no auto-pause when you take one or both buds out of the ears (as there are no ambient or motion sensor to detect when its out of your ears) - as much as it a welcome addition, the flap that covers the usb port is rather finicky to pry open and with continuous open/closes, it may not fit properly or even fall off - that 'hiss!', not sure if its from active noise cancellation, but it is a little bothersome when you dont have anything playing - the soundcore app could use a little bit more features (i'm especially waiting on the pass-through sound option that Anker promised would come later), that would put these buds on par with the Sony's and that about wraps this up. With all the pros/cons, and comparing to all the buds I've used, sure you can get slightly better sound but you may have to pay twice as much (and lose some other features these buds have) Best overall buds in my use-case!

-Reset the earbuds using the following steps:
1). Place the earbuds back into the charging case and keep the case open.
2).Tap and hold the button at the back of the case for 10 seconds until both earbuds' LED lights flash red 3 times.
-After the reset you will see the white light flashes quickly on the one earbud and the light flashes slowly on the other side, which means they pair together.
-Turn on the Bluetooth on your device again, search for the Liberty (not Liberty L) and pair the device to see if that worked.
-Please try with another device (phone/tablet/etc.) and see if the issue is the same.
Note: When there is a pop-up window for you to confirm pairing. Select "pair". If you select "cancel" accidentally, you need to delete the earbuds from the device's Bluetooth history and re-pair the earbuds.

If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
1. Confirm the charging case has power left (press the button on the case and note if an LED is illuminated). If the case LED does not light up, please charge the case first. Connect the case with the included USB-C cable and plug it into a USB power source to charge it for 2 hours.
2. Ensure all charging contact pins on the earbuds and charging case are completely clean and dry of sweat and water. You can also use cleaning alcohol for cleaning the contacts. Use a dry cloth to ensure the parts are clean and dry afterwards before using.
3. Please place the earbuds correctly into the charging case. When you put the earbuds back into the case, the first and third lights on the case flash twice to indicate both earbuds are charging normally. Charge the headphones for 1.5 hours until they are fully charged. While charging the LED on the earbuds is breathing. When the devices are full, the LEDs will turn off.
Hint: Searching the following keyword on a search engine will bring you to a short video showing how to clean our earbud contacts on an older model for reference: MkbTerepwUk.
If the earbud is charging fine but can't connect or play sound, would you try the following tips:
-Delete (forget/ignore) the pairing records for the headphones (both Liberty & Liberty L) on your device (phone/tablet/etc.) and turn off the Bluetooth.
-Reset the earbuds using the following steps:

Place both earbuds back into the charging case. Keep the case open.
Tap and hold the button at the back of the case for 10 seconds until both earbuds' LED lights flash red 3 times.
-Use a Q-tip with a bit of rubbing alcohol to gently clean the metal mesh filter under the rubber ear tips. This is best done when sound is playing through your earbuds at max volume.

These are great! Sound excellent!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These buds are incredibly popular and have only a handful of reviews. Find flossycarter on youtube he does an in depth review and his "hype" is warranted on these. The BAD I'll start with the bad, (all minor software gripes) HISS Hiss. there is a hiss when no media is playing, I dont mind but it lowers the premium experience. PASSTHROUGH I would like this because I often have them playing at 60% volume and that is enough to block out the world no matter what's going on, in order to allow sounds to get from the world to my ears I need to turn the volume down to like <20% SIZE They are NOT too big! Make them bigger if it gives more battery life and features!! SOFTWARE I would like a traditional eq where you can raise or lower frequency amplitude. BUTTONS I would like to turn up, skip fwd, and assistant. But you have to select volume OR and combination of track forward, backward and assistant. The GOOD EVERYTHING Everything that is worth anything with buds, is good or Better with these! All the gripes I mentioned above (except the size joke) can be fixed with software. I have used these consistently for a few weeks and found no major flaws! They sound amazing. The only other good buds I have are the samsung buds and I gave them to my wife after using these for a bit. I have used a lot of buds and headphones. But they are mostly not worth owning. The anker liberty 2 pros are worth owning. I'm buying a set for a few family members! Buy these.

Amazing earbuds! Definitely worth the purchase!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are fantastic! They were in the final running for which earbuds I chose. I am rather picky with the earbuds I choose, and I actually ended up trying out 9 different earbuds before settling on one. I'm not reviewing all the nitty gritty fancy functions of all the buds, just the general functionality such as ear comfort, sound quality, call quality, noise cancelling, touchpad functionality, etc. Part of what I enjoy about buying new technology is the presentation. The Anker Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro earbuds have an amazing presentation in the packaging. That doesn't really change the quality and whatnot, but I really enjoyed it and got hyped about it. They also sound fantastic for music quality, and call quality is really great too. Honestly, these earbuds were close to competing even with the Sony earbuds for sound quality. They really are amazing, with rich, deep sound. You can also adjust the EQ settings in the app to play around with the sound. Instead of a touchpad sensor, these earbuds have a little button on top to physically press. I'm not a huge fan of that, plus the button is small and kinda hard to find. One other thing I LOVED was the case. Very small and sleek, it's easily carriable. Plus, rather than flipping open like every other earbud, the top slid open across the top, which I thought was really, really cool. Another presentation feature that doesn't really change much, but it got me hyped. Now for the disqualifying characteristics. I already mentioned the button. The biggest thing was the wing tips. Similar to my review of the Bose Sport earbuds, the wing tips are very floppy and malleable, thus inferring to me that without much time or use, they will be distorted and misshapen in a way that won't look as good and may not work as well to keep the buds in my ears. As for that, the wing tips didn't help to keep the buds in my ears. They fell out with some movement and jostling. This honestly was the only thing that blew it for me, and the button I guess. I really did like these earbuds. I also tried out 8 other pair of earbuds: Samsung Galaxy Buds Live, Sony WF-1000XM3, Sony WF-SP800N, LG TONE Free HBS-FN4, Jabra Elite 75t, JLab Epic Air Sport ANC, Powerbeats Pro, and Bose Sport Earbuds. I ultimately chose the Sony WF-SP800N earbuds, they are amazing. I reviewed all the other ones on the BestBuy website, so you can look at my review for those too.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loud clear and plenty of bass. Have the Fiil t1x and if I had to pick a clear winner I would have to give these ones a bit higher in sound quality. More open in sound. Both great but these stay in my ears a little better. Great earbuds over all!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are excellent quality and provide a very nice range of sound. Over all they can be a bit difficult to wear long term if you have ears that don't exactly match the included buds or fins, but they are well worth the price! There can be a slight ambient buzzing noise but it immediately goes away once you play some music or a video.

Decent buds with some huge flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off the earbuds aren't bad sounding. They are quite decent. If you are going to be using these for a light jog or a 40 minute long commute, they are pretty good. Those are the only qualifications for which these earbuds are a good buy because in my experience they suffer from a lot of little quirks and a couple very big ones. I'm going to get the little things out of the way now; the earbuds have a flimsy case. When the case is open the buds connect to your device, but in my experience the case comes loose, or something because they only work properly the first day you use the earbuds. on the second day you will find your earbuds still connected while they are seated inside the charging case. You will easily tell because you will clearly hear the music still playing through your front pocket. Also the earbuds don't default to calls on ios. That could be an ios problem, but searching yielded no results of other people having the same issue with other earbuds, just these. so you will accept a call and you won't hear anything because the caller would be going through on your phone. On android I have only experienced this when placing calls from the handset itself. Receiving calls worked without a hitch when you answered on the headset and on the handset. Probably the next thing I would like to bring up is the controls on these things are tiny and hard to find, but easily to press. When I adjust the buds I pause my music. I took one out to hear someone and oops I just skipped 30 seconds forward on my podcast. I tried pausing it, but another 30 seconds skipped. The earbuds are also fairly large and could be my ears, but they just wouldn't fit right regardless of which tips I tried. I tried all the wings and the smaller ones wouldn't keep the earbud in place in my ear and the larger ones caused massive pain. At least the small ones only gave me light soreness after a few hours of listening, but as someone who listens to music all day at work and takes calls almost non stop these things shouldn't hurt as much as they do. If you are going to use them less than an hour you should be fine. Most people have said the pain only shows up after a few hours of listening so it seems to be ok for smaller uses. The biggest issue for me and the main reason I bought these things was for the advertised 8 hour battery life. I own a paid of Anker Liberty True Wireless Earbuds and they have similar claims. They sound worst, but when I put them on in the morning they don't leave my ears until lunch time when they go into their charging case and in half an hour I go up about 25% in battery life enough to complete my work day. Also their main form of interaction is large buttons on each bud. They don't hurt my ears even after fourteen hour days. So you should believe when I heard about these I jumped and preordered them right away. That first day I began to feel the soreness almost immediately, but I thought I was just adjusting to them. About four hours into my shift I got a low battery warning. I downloaded the app to find out the right ear bud was dying. I thought no problem so I popped it into the case and hooked up just the left ear bud. 45 minutes or so go by and I pop out the right on out. The box claims fifteen minutes to get 2 hour playback. The robotic voice tells me battery medium. Seems reasonable. Within thirty minutes I get the low battery warning again. I let it charge all day and plug in the case. Same thing happened the next day. The right ear bud would only get about 3 or hour hours. Well below the advertised time. So I contacted Anker and tried to get them replaced. Their customer support made me send them a video of me putting the earbuds in the case to ensure they were charging. Even if they were charging, the right ear bud was experiencing massive battery drain. Same would have happened with the left if it had been the main Bluetooth connection, but I barely tried it out. Anker kept asking for proof that the device was faulty and there was literally nothing I could do to prove to them the right ear bud was experiencing massive battery drain other than wear a go pro and record my volume at 75% and I kept tapping the battery indicator in the app. I got a refund and was happy that was resolved. On black Friday weekend I saw these going for 75 dollars so I figured that I liked the way they sounded enough and surely the second set wouldn't be defective. I got them and exact same issue. I am sure 8 hours playtime is totally possible if you use one earbud at a time. That's why I can only recommend these for short listening sessions. some of these concerns are personal like the ear tips and wings not fitting right, but most people have told me these do cause soreness. Probably due to their size and weight.

Posted .Thank you so much for writing. It's unusual for this product to be acting like this. It's really a rare case to have both units defective with the same issue.
