Awesome sound, a little loose on the fit in my ear
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the SoundCore Liberty Pro 4’s for about 2 weeks now and can say they are well worth the price. Firstly, the sound quality on these is fantastic, and the bass is surprisingly good for wireless earbuds. The acoustics sound great as well and you can hear every part or instrument of a song very clearly. The 360 surround sound actually works quite impressively with most movies and shows. These earbuds have an extremely satisfying case to open and hold with it not being too bulky or blocky. The earbuds themselves have a nice sleek design that fit the shape of my ears pretty well. My only complaint about the headphones is the 4 different interchangeable ear tips are easy to swap out and feel comfortable on my ears, however, I tried every size and stuck with the small size but none stayed in my ear that well if I was doing activities with lots of physical movement or if I was leaning over forward, they often loosened up over time and fell out of my ears very commonly. Coming straight out of the box these headphones come charged and were extremely easy to connect to Bluetooth. The app is simple to set up as well and anyone could easily figure out how to do it. The charging cable these come with works well enough and gets them charged up relatively fast, and the battery life on these is able to last me a long time. The earbuds themselves last long outside the case and charge back to full in the case very quickly as well. Overall I highly recommend the Soundcore Liberty Pro 4’s as a pair of headphones for any type of phone for this price point.

Easy to individualize for optimal use
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Wireless Earbuds are fantastic. I'm not a big earbud person. I prefer headphones but figured I'd try these. I'm impressed. First, it comes with 4 sizes (1 small, 1 large, and two medium sizes) of the ear piece so I was able to find one that was comfortable. Usually they annoy me. This one I got used to quickly and it didn't bother me at all. Second, I really like how it snaps into place in the charger so there isn't a worry that the earbud will disconnect and not get charged. Third, I was impressed that each individual earbud was synched to that ear so if someone had hearing issues, it can be accommodated. You get to choose which range you want for that individual earbud rather than the set as a whole. For example, if you prefer a heavier bass sound, you can choose that. Next, you have three choices on noise level. Complete noise canceling, normal ambient noise or set so you can listen out for a particular noise, such as a phone ringing. I found this to be perfect for when I want to use these earbuds but still need to be aware of what is going on around me. I don't use them for hours at a time so I cannot speak to how long they stay charged but it was well over three hours. I definitely recommend these earbuds.

Illuminated case is a nice touch
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are a really nice budget option that will let you test-drive premium features without breaking the bank. The noise-cancellation is acceptable and the sound isn't too bad. You won't get super deep bass or crystal-clear mids/highs, but overall the sound is acceptable for this price point. I was surprised to see spatial audio as an option with these earbuds and Anker implemented it really well. Mine are paired with a Galazy Z Fold 4 and the Android app lets you customize EQ settings and monitor your heart rate. They're comfortable enough to wear for several hours at a clip and have touch controls to switch between ANC and transparency mode, pause/play, and answer calls. Call quality is decent, but they pick up more background noise than I'd like. The case has a sunroof-style lid that lights up when you open it and I love the compact design and wireless charging option. Battery life seems decent- I haven't worn them long enough to test the 9-hour playtime claim. I love Anker's other products and thought I'd give their earbuds a try. The Liberty 4 are leaps and bounds above their previous earbud models and they hold their own among the budget earbud lineup.

Very Fancy !
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice feeling case and design. The top slides open to an illuminated interior which highlights the ear pieces. The back lighting and presentation is definitely a high point of using the device. The top slides in a very refined way, and the magnets which hold in the ear pieces have a excellent feel. The ear pieces themselves are Apple refined with shorter stems, rounded and tapered. Someone spent a lot of time on design and presentation of this product which definitely shows. Pairing is very easy with android and iPhone. And it stays connected unlike some others. Sound quality, the most important reason, is excellent. Bass is good and more than acceptable. The sound seems to surround you much better than other earbuds i've used. You can still hear the outside world depending on your volume. Using the Soundcore apps adds additional features like heart rate tracking and active noise canceling. It has squeeze control for some functions, but I admit this took some trail and error. Battery life is good. I used it almost all day and it did not need charging. I believe it is rated at 9 hrs plus addition using the charging case.

Much better value than those other big brands
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This set of Soundcore Liberty 4 earbuds by Anker is really impressive. I find the offering from Apple not to fit comfortably in my ears. This is cheaper than those other brand name ones available and pack quite a bit of features such as Active Noise Cancellation, Sound pass through, configurable EQ, and a big surprise is heart rate monitoring. Traditional round earbuds just hurt my ears but the slimmer egg shape of these buds just fit great. Sound quality is also amazing. Unlike cheaper earbuds where they focus heavily on bass, these are well rounded and full sounding. Everything from the bass to mids to treble works together to sound natural. Using the Soundcore app, you can get a glance at your heartrate. This is something you are not going to find in other headsets. Battery life is amazing and with average use lasts nearly a week before needing to charge the charging case. Bluetooth connection to my phone has been rock solid and I feel like I cannot recommend anything more expensive than these unless you need brand recognition. Anker really did a good job on these earbuds.

Nice pair of wireless ear phones.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice pair of ear phones for the price. They sound super good on phone calls. I like the fact that when you are using the ear phones that you can go onto the application and on your phone and change to the Transparency Mode so that I can also hear what is going on around me. Some ear phones will not allow you to do that. I need to be able to hear my surroundings around me while I am on the phone or watching a video. The sound on the music is really good, very crisp sound. I am really enjoy being able to watch my video's yet answering my phone calls as well. The connecting from the box is immediate, that is very important for me to be able to grab them out of the box and input them into my ear and have them work right away. I honestly would compare the quality to other well know name brands. The only thing that I did not like that made me give this a 4 star was that when you hang up the phone or end your call you have to squeeze the bottom piece of the ear phone which is very odd, I honestly like tapping better to hand up or get to another call. Other than that very please with these ear phones. The comfort is also amazing I must say.

Taking them back!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First let me start by saying that the sound is good when it works. The noise canceling sucks! I can hear everything around me! That was the whole point of me buying these! Anyway if they would only stay connected I might keep them. I got them also cause my wife likes to take naps and I need to watch tv quietly but unfortunately they keep disconnecting and my soundbar takes over for about 4 seconds and then the liberty’s connect again. In the meantime all it took to wake my wife up was those 4 freakin seconds they disconnected! It’s frustrating!!!!!!!

To fix the noise canceling issue, we kindly ask you to try the following tips:
1) Try other sizes of ear tips to ensure you're using one that fits well and creates a tight seal.
2) Make sure you're wearing the earbuds in the correct position so that they create a tight seal. To check if you're wearing the earbuds in the perfect position, take the Fit Test on the soundcore app.
3) Take the HearID ANC test to personalize the noise-canceling effect.
4) Try different ANC modes to see which one suits your environment best.
Note: In a noisy environment and at high volume, you may feel that the noise cancellation performance is not as strong.
Regarding disconnecting issue, please also try:
1) Try another device to see if the issue is still the same.
2) Reset the earbuds via the steps below:
Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open, then press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators flash white rapidly three times.
3) Change the environment and turn off LDAC mode.

Awful, 5 minute walk, 10 full disconnects later
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Anker usually makes some great products, and I was looking forward to using these. I ordered them, used them the next day at work only to learn that they will disconnect for no reason at all, and repeatedly. I tried updating them, resetting them, unpairing them from the phone, but no matter what I did they continued to disconnect. Personally, if you’re looking at these and need a suggestion… get the LinkBuds S.

Some environments (such as airports, offices, subways, crowded public spaces, etc.) can interfere with your Bluetooth connection. To optimize your Bluetooth connection:
1. Download videos and songs instead of streaming, as it may be related to the network environment.
2 If you have an Android phone, temporarily disable unnecessary app traffic settings on your phone.
Or you can try:
- Resetting the earbuds: Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open, then press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators flash white rapidly three times.
- Try a different device if possible.

Great Sound, Fit, Numerous Features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Starting with the packaging, it’s impressive as it literally shows off the ear buds, the case, and the additional 3 pairs of ear cushion when you open the box. The box has a magnetic flap that makes opening easy and secure. The black ear bud case/charger uses a slide lid rather than a hinged opening lid. At first try you find no place to put your fingernail to open, and then you realize it slides to the back. The case is slim and can fit a jeans pocket easily. When you open the case while the ear buds are in the case charging, the buds actually light up helping you see the buds to pull them out. They are magnetically held in place which not only makes them secure, but makes reinsertion a breeze. Incidentally the case can be charged wirelessly or via a USB-C cord. These buds offer great sound that does not disappoint or overwhelm your senses. The sound has strong tight base and crisp clear highs. The base is not overdone but strong when it needs to be. The highs are crisp and clean at all volume levels. Overall it’s a very good sound that is not tiring. The app offers lots of options for the sound. The Hear ID sound uses a hearing test that actually plays various sounds and you answer if you can hear it. Result is a tailored sound based on your own actual hearing test. For the default sound, there are actually 22 choices that can be chosen. There is also a Custom choice where you just use an equalizer curve where you can increase or reduce 8 points on the curve. The Spatial choice is my favorite as it gives more “space” for the sounds to appear as if coming from different areas. Within that choice you can have a Fixed or a Head Tracking where it rotates the sound based on how you turn your head! Pretty interesting as it even works in a 360 circle as you rotate your head in a circle or spinning on an office chair. The Fixed is what I usually use. The controls on the ear buds are not touch sensitive so you won’t accidentally pause or skip a track. Instead there are tiny buttons on the front leading edge of the stem that leads down from your ears. At first they are hard to find, but once you figure out where they are they are very positive and handy. For the controls on the ear buds themselves, you can customize the controls for both the left and the right ear bud separately. This offers you 6 different controls based on a single, double, and triple press on each ear bud. Very versatile and lets you set it your way. Within each press choice there are 7 choices to choose from using the app. The fit is excellent for my ears right out of the box. The cushions are soft yet seal very well to my ear and do not feel like they will fall out. The box also offers 3 additional pairs of cushions for various sized ears. CONS. I cannot find any negatives. CONCLUSION: I really like these ear buds. They fit my ears well, sound great, have a plethora of features, and the price is very good. They are one of my favorites among the several I own. I would recommend these to almost anyone that is looking for great sound, fit, and features!

Premium Earbuds at a Great Value
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds have really impressed me. They have a great sound, are made by a trusted brand, and have many features. Overall, they feel very premium at a better value than others. The unboxing is very nice. The packaging feels really thought out, and gives a great presentation of the earbuds and included accessories. When fully opened, you see the case, the earbuds, ear tips, charging cable, and instructions. No need to remove extra bits of cardboard or plastic to find something, it is all right there. The earbuds have a unique look with the clear ear tips. When placed in the case, it lights up and looks very cool. The case is rather small, and slides open, which is very easy to do. I'm getting very close to the stated battery life (9 hours, and 28 hours with the case before everything needs to be charged). The sounds is great, and can be adjusted with the Sound Core app. I turned the bass down a bit, as to me it seemed a bit bass heavy out of the box. However, the app is easy to use and intuitive. The noise cancellation is great for my use. The spatial audio is neat, but somewhat of a novelty for me. I find it distracting and would rather keep things in a stereo mode. It was really impressed with the default noise cancellation settings, but you can also customize this - this is a feature missing on more popular earbuds, but the Liberty 4s have it. These earbuds also have a heart rater tracker, which can be checked in the app. I'm not sure of the accuracy as I have nothing to compare it against, but it seems to do a good job of tracking work outs. I guess it is a cool feature, but not sure what you would do with the data. Overall, these feel like premium earbuds without the premium price. Easy to recommend as the value is really great.

Good Sound, but caution on the fit
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good set of headphones, with just a few minor things. First they are great audio quality, very clear sound, good tone. Very enjoyable to listen with. I try not to crank up ear buds very loud, and these were not at full volume and were pretty loud, So in most environments should have absolutely no problem. Follows the current convention for this style. You need the custom carrying case to charge them, and the case carries a bigger battery itself, so you don't need to connect to an actual power source for a while. The negative on them, for my daughter (the eventual user of these), they just didn't fit her ear right. We tried all different sizes of tips, and they just didn't fit snug, and they would fall out. not sure if it is the design of the straight arm, or just the combination of the ear piece and design, but she couldn't get them to stay. Me, no problem. (And she doesn't have issue with other buds). Very easy to pair, was able to get this to multiple devices with out a bunch of issues.

A sound system in my ears
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Wireless Earbuds work right out of the box by simply pairing them with my phones’ Bluetooth. But that way makes them just an average pair of Earbuds. Once I installed the Soundcore app, I became able to expand the full functionality of the Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Wireless Earbuds. Pairing through the Soundcore app shows battery strength of both Earbuds and charging case, noise cancellation, transparency mode, normal mode, Sound effects (Spatial Effects, HearID Sound, Default Equalizer and Custom), Controls, and Soundcore Wellness. I can control play, pause, next, previous, volume up, and volume down, accept calls, reject calls. Once connected, I tried all of the functionality of the command sequences. All of the command sequences in the instructions work as stated. The sound is excellent with total clarity of vocals and instruments with a nice amount of bass. They fit snug in my ear and I have multiple cushions to change the fit. Calls come in clear and shut off other audio functions. The Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 Wireless Earbuds are a great pair of earbuds to have in my ears.

Best earbuds for the money.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You might think to yourself "Why would I get a pair of earbuds from a company known for their cables and battery packs?" I'm here to tell you that the Soundcore Liberty 4 earbuds are easily the best noise-cancelling earbuds you can get for the money, period. Solid build quality and terrific battery life are both here, as is great (for Bluetooth) sound quality. The noise cancelling is good - they worked well enough to silence fan noises at work and nearly silenced a set of refrigeration compressors. Setup is also super simple - the earbuds paired with my iPhone with no issues. The other great part of these earbuds is the app you use to control them. It's easy to switch not only between noise cancelling modes, but to pair other devices so you can be connected to two things at one time (my second device was an Android TV box that supports Bluetooth headphones). Going from watching something on Netflix to taking a phone call and back was seamless. My only complaint? The packaging, while otherwise great, isn't completely intuitive as to where the box opens. All in all, the Anker Soundcore Liberty 4 are terrific.

Top notch earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are outstanding! The sound quality of top notch. They are easy to connect and I never lost connection. These earbuds fit into my ears with no issues. I do like how the case does a slide-open. It's a nice touch that's different than most cases. These buds also seem to charge very quickly while inside the case than most wireless earbuds. The heartbeat tracker is nice, but I hardly use it so far. I have really tried to nitpick on these earbuds, but I really can't find anything I dislike so far. If there is anything, I would say the price may be a little high for some people, but I believe it's worth the price. I'm also not really into the noise cancelling features on earbuds because I really can't tell a difference, but I do seem to notice a difference with the noise cancelling setting with these earbuds. The range using these earbuds also seems to be pretty long. I can be about 50 feet from my feet and still have connection. I would definitely recommend these earbuds for anyone who enjoys wearing earbuds and enjoys music on the move.

Fantastic Wireless Earbuds!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent product that I am highly satisfied with! It is indeed difficult to find wireless earbuds that are somewhere near as good and as comfortable as Apple AirPods, but this company managed to do it! They sound great, they feel comfortable, and look stylish. I downloaded the app that goes with it and it seems to run very well. The case itself looks nice and sleek, and it also does not take up too much space. Thankfully it charges via USB C too. The box it came in is very nice, it really makes you feel like you purchased a premium product! 10/10 highly recommend.

Comfort & Great Surround Sound with Lots of Bass
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I certainly love these earbuds. Pairing was super quick to a desktop, then a laptop and also to my cell phone, and then I even paired to my TV. The bass sound is the best I have ever heard from wireless or even wired ear buds. I can’t say how it works exactly but the so-called spatial sound does work. Additional hardware and added processing is indeed needed to create this effect. It seems the audio is hitting your ears differently as you move your head; and gives a kind of surround sound experience. I loved it. You can use the Soundcore Wellness app to track your heartbeat since these earbuds have technology to provide this info. This was useful when I go to the fitness club and want to see what happened during my work outs. It did reflect in general what I could see on some of the machines like a treadmill where I could see the heart rate live – so the earbud circuits do work. Phone calls had same clear sound. Sometimes I just use the cell phone and sometimes I use a little MP3 player. In both cases the sound was fantastic. The earbuds stayed put when working out. I did not notice any discomfort even if I went 60-90 minutes sometimes. The design of the ‘earcup’ is nice and soft and fits just right in my ears. I highly recommend these super technology and super sounding and comfortable earbuds.
