I use an iPhone 11 Pro Max. 1) The headphones connect immediately only occasionally, sometimes never, and sometimes after I say “what the hell!” multiple times. Call clarity is great, my callers are happy with my voice clarity. 2) Music playback is 7/10. Based on the fact I bought specifically for connecting to my phone for calls and it only works intermittently, I’ll have to return them.

Posted .1. Please choose the "Soundcore headphone" as the output device when you pick up the call;
--If you're an Android phone user, please try to turn up the volume on your phone to see if it helps. (You may try to turn down the volume a bit them turn it up as Android devices don't support media volume sync.)
2. Are you having this issue with regular phone calls or with an App you use for calls?
3. Where are you usually when the problem happens? Indoors? On a busy street?
4. Does this issue happen when you use both sides together? Or only one side is used?
Tips:
1. Use the default phone call on another phone to see if it makes any difference.
2. Reset the earbuds by the following steps to see if the problem still persists.
--Place the earbuds into the charging case and make sure they are being charged.
--Keep the charging case open, then press and hold the button on the charging case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators on both earbuds flashes red 3 times.
3. Upgrade the firmware to the last version 4.19 throigh Soundcore APP and then turn off the "Auto pause" just as the attachment is shown in this message to see if there are helpful.

Very poor noise cancellation.

Sound quality is good on my end, but I work in a noisy environment and the person I'm speaking to gets a lot of noise and I find myself yelling for them to hear me. Stereo sound is good. Overall use is a bit awkward and took some time to figure out. Controls are by touch, (no buttons) and they are very sensitive. I'm back to using two devices.

Posted .Thanks for your feedback. Regarding the noise canceling, please note, due to the long distance from the mouth, call quality of Total Wireless Earphone is usually not good. By using the mic noise reduction, Liberty Air 2 could provide much better call quality than most of the TWS on the market. But if the noise is too loud or too close to the user, the noise will still influence the call quality. Our team has also tried hard to balance the mic sound quality and noise for this newest version. Surely we will keep working for the improvement.
