I used the Samsung equalizer to make them sound better. They need a little help to get the full sound, but you get what you pay for, and I'm okay with that. :)

First time buying cordless for running and they work great so much better than having the cord which gets stuck to you!

And too my surprise for the price I had purchased it on sale, it is amazing. The sound is very good. And the quality is not too bad either. Best value for under $50.

To fix the volume issue, we kindly ask you to try the following tips:
- Adjust the volume with the connected devices.
- Try to reset the earbuds: Place the earbuds into the charging case and remain the case open. Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until all the earbud LED indicators flash white 3 times slowly. This confirms that the reset was successful and your earbuds can be connected normally.
- Use a Q-tip with a bit of rubbing alcohol to gently clean the metal mesh filter under the rubber ear tips. This is best done when sound is playing through your earbuds at max volume.
- Try it with another device (phone/tablet/etc.) and see if the issue persists.

Surprisingly great sound, mediocre microphone
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I give you the in-a-nutshell version first: if you are buying some headphones to use primarily for listening to music or content, these earbuds sound far better than they have any right to. But if you plan on also using them to make hands-free calls...maybe look elsewhere. AUDIO PERFORMANCE They sound great. Bass is present (which is a rarity in less expensive models of headphones), and mids and highs sound great too. The volume level doesn't distort until the volume is cranked all the way to 100%. COMFORT The longest I went wearing these headphones was a 90 minute hike and not once did they irritate my ears. They stayed in my ears throughout my walk and they're light enough that I don't even really feel them. BATTERY LIFE I've had these headphones for a little over a week, and I haven't had to recharge the case yet. I charged it fully when I opened the box, and that initial charge has been able to keep the buds topped off in between uses so far. CALL QUALITY Here's the but...the microphone quality leaves a lot to be desired. The first person I talked to on the phone with these headhpones said I sounded like I was underwater. I had another person tell me they had to turn their volume all the way up to understand me clearly. I recorded myself speaking on my phone's voice recording app and can confirm that this mic is mediocre at best. It's good enough for a quick call, but if you routinely ask your headphones to handle phone calls, you'll want to look elsewhere. Overall, I've been impressed. Good job, Anker.

Stays in my ears while working out at the gym. Reduces gym noise music ect so what I get though the ear pieces are my sounds and very little other noise.
