Neither did mine at least I thought so. If it doesn’t work put it back in the case and try again. Mine worked after I did that. Can't complain so far about anything else.

To fix the connectivity issue, we kindly ask you to try the following tips:
1-Remove the protective film covering the connectors on the earbuds.
2-Reboot the Bluetooth device, such as a phone or computer. Forget all the pairing records on your device and turn off Bluetooth.
3-Reset the earbuds as per the steps below (make sure your earbuds have enough battery.)
*Place the earbuds into the charging case and remain the case open.
*Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until all the earbud LED indicators flash white 3 times slowly. This confirms that the reset was successful and your earbuds can be connected normally.
4-Turn on the Bluetooth of your device and search for Soundcore earbuds and pair.

To fix the charging issue, we kindly ask you to try the following tips:
- Try a different wall charger and cable to charge the charging case for at least 24 hours no matter if the indicator is on or off (it's best to use a 5V charger).
- Make sure the wall charger and cable you're using work fine on other devices.
- Ensure all charging contact pins on the earbuds and charging case is completely clean and dry of sweat and water. You can also use cleaning alcohol for cleaning the contacts. Use a dry cloth to ensure the parts are clean and dry afterward before using.
- Make sure the earbuds are properly placed in the case and make sure the ear tips are in the right position, sometimes the ear tips may interfere with the connection between the earbuds and the charging case.
- Reset the earbuds: Place the earbuds into the charging case and remain the case open. Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until all the earbud LED indicators flash white 3 times slowly. This confirms that the reset was successful and your earbuds can be connected normally.

Volume doesn't go "way too loud" on max like some other one so that is nice. These also fit comfortable in my ear canals unlike some other pairs.
