Great Sound While Comfortably Untethered

My husband is retired and home all the time now. I have been working from home ever since the beginning of the COVID pandemic. Working from home has meant an increase in virtual meetings, seminars and classes. Before my husband retired, my home workplace was nice and quiet, but now the chance for ambient noise has increased dramatically. That is why I first invested in noise cancelling earbuds.
The earbuds worked well, but I just wasn't crazy about how they felt in my ears or about how easy it was to misplace them.
Then I tried full-fledged noise-cancelling USB earphones that plugged into my computer and had the microphone that angled in front of your mouth. They also worked well, but kept me tethered to the computer, unless I took them off of my head or unplugged them from the computer and dragged the cord around with me. Awkward!
So, when I heard about the Anker Soundcore Q45 True Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones, I couldn't wait to give them a try. I have several other Anker products and I have found them to be thoughtfully designed, easy to use and well functioning. I expected the same from the Space Q45's and I have not been disappointed.
From the start, upon removing them from the box, I was impressed by the cleverly designed hard-walled case in which the headphones fit so neatly. Removing the headphones from the case, I was pleased by how soft, padded and pliable the contact areas of the Q45.
A USB cable for charging the unit was provided with the Q45. It took about 2 hours for them to be totally charged.
There is a Quick Start Guide provided in the box. Directly on the front of the Guide, it points you to the Soundcore Support website. It encourages you to download the Soundcore application to your phone. I am glad I did this, because under the Settings (Gear Icon), I found that there was an update to the device's firmware. I followed the directions and updated the firmware. Then explored the application a bit. There are multiple settings for the Q45 in the app and a listing of helpful Frequently Asked Questions. There is also a download for the full User's Manual.
I placed the Q45's on my head, making sure to put the side marked R on the right side. They were so soft and comfortable. I found them to be easily adjusted to snuggly fit to my head. They felt much lighter than the USB wired headphones that I had used before. And, best thing yet, I could get up and move around without being tethered to the computer or removing them. Freedom!
I paired up the Q45 via Bluetooth to the laptop that I was going to use for my upcoming class for work. This was a fast and easy feat. I found that the Q45 can be paired with multiple devices, so, I also paired them with my Android phone. I tested out the sound and three listening modes while playing my local NPR station on SimpleRadio. The sound was clear and vibrant. The Noise Canceling mode effectively eliminated the sound of landscaping crew mowing and blowing outside, as well as the cooling fans on my computers. I found pretty much the same result in the Normal mode - still very quiet ambient noise. The Transparency mode allowed me to hear the ambient sounds, but at a reduced, non-distractive level.
The next day, I was readying myself for my class. I was a bit disconcerted that there was no microphone arm on the Q45. My fears that this would make the microphone ineffective was proven to be for nothing, as, later, when I was using the Q45's in my Zoom class, my trainers and classmates said that my sound was perfect. What a relief!
I am very impressed with the Anker Soundcore Space Q45's. They are everything that I hoped for an untethered experience: great sound, comfortable and lightweight, long battery life and wire-free.
A great experience all around!

Incredible Headphones at This Price Range!

Anker has some wonderful consumer tech. I have used their charging products like charging bricks and portable power banks, so this is my first time with one of their audio products from their Soundcore lineup. The Space Q 45s have blown my expectations away. Not only do these sound remarkable but the many features these headphones provide at this price point, make these a worthwhile choice if you are in search for some over-the-ear headphones.
==========
IN THE BOX:
In the box, one gets the Space Q 45’s, a hard-shell carrying case, a 3.5mm AUX cable, and a USB-A to USB-C cable. There is also a quick start guide included.
==========
BUILD QUALITY AND COMFORT:
Build quality seems fine. Most of the headphone is made from plastic but the headband is made from aluminum. The foam padding on the ear cups is thick and does feel comfortable. But the area that lacked comfort was the headband. There is some foam padding added to the headband, but I did not feel it was enough since after some time I did experience discomfort from the headband. These aren’t the most comfortable headphones I have used but if you aren’t using them for a prolonged period, one should be fine.
==========
BATTERY:
I was blown away by reading about how much battery these have. Anker states that the Q45s provide up to 50 hours of playtime in noise-cancelling mode. In normal mode, expect around up to 65 hours of playtime. I can attest to this by saying that these do indeed have a massive battery life. I have yet to charge these, and I have been using them for only a handful of hours the past couple of days. Also, if you are running low on battery with these Q45s, the Q45s do have the ability to charge quickly. A 5-minute charge will give you about 5 hours of playtime!
==========
SOUND QUALITY AND ANC:
The Q45s sound incredible. Out of the box, they sound good, but Anker offers some in-app features that allow for better sound quality. One of the features is an in-app custom EQ. Anker has some default EQ options for the genre of music you are listening to but there is a custom option if you need to fine-tune your desired sound. There is also the option to enable LDAC codec. This codec allows for high-resolution audio streaming over Bluetooth. This option only works with certain devices. In my case, I found it to work with my Galaxy S21 Ultra. I found that enabling this option with the custom EQ settings to be the optimal way to obtain the best sound out of these. The lows, mids, and highs were all clear and crisp to the ear. Overall, expect an immersive experience with these headphones. The downside to enabling the LDAC codec is that battery usage will be higher, and multipoint connection will no longer be available.
The Q45s do have Adaptive Noise Cancelling (ANC). I don’t have any complaints about this feature. ANC seems to work great to the point I missed my doorbell ring while I was using these headphones! Noise reduction levels can be customized through the app too. There is a noticeable hiss when ANC is on but over time, I did get used to it. Transparency mode works just as well too. I was able to have a conversation with someone while the headphones were on without any problems.
=========
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Anker hit a homerun with the Space Q45s. Sound quality is top-notch, and the myriad of features is a surprise for headphones at this price range. Although I did find comfort wasn’t the best with these headphones (especially with the headband) I do think that Anker did an overall outstanding job at creating some budget-friendly over-the-ear headphones. I do wholeheartedly recommend you give these a try!

The Soundcore by Anker Space Q45!
TLDR - great pair of wireless noise canceling headphones that comes in at half or less than half the price of other competitors.
Pros:
> Great battery life: i got ~60 hours of use without NC & ~45 hours with NC; in both scenarios, i typically listen to music/podcasts ~60% volume.
> Sound quality: sound signature for me personally was great, i’m not necessarily an audiophile, but liked the out of the box settings & found the EQ from the app to be pretty good.
> Noise Cancellation & Transparency: these do a very good job of canceling noise, given that they are coming in at half the price of ones that completely cancel noise! The transparency mode is also great and voices can be brought to the forefront to have conversations easier w/o taking off the headphones.
> Build quality: the headphones are mostly plastic with a bit of aluminum alloy around the head band, however it doesn’t feel too cheap, and is pretty lightweight so as to not create much fatigue when wearing
> Comfort: as mentioned previously, these are pretty lightweight and are comfy to wear. The clamping force is also fine as it isn’t too tight, but just enough so that the ear cups seal enough to create a noise canceling atmosphere. The articulation of the motion in the ear cups allow for these to fit on various positions while maintaining a high level of comfort!
> Controls: physical buttons are provided for power, play/pause toggle, & volume. Additionally, you get an NC button that cycles through NC mode, transparency mode, or off for both NC & transparency (this particular button can be customized via the app to perform other actions). I think the placement/layout of these buttons are very intuitive and took me very little time to build my muscle memory for where they were.
> Portability: the Q45s can fold pretty easily and also come with a hard shell case. When folded, it’s pretty small and can easily fit in a bag OR hooked onto a bag.
Cons:
> Call quality: the microphone on these are decent but don’t do a great job of blocking any ambient noise (at least i’m told from my wife when i call her with these paired). I myself did not find the Q45’s mics to be up to par compared to some of my other NC headphones but then again, it is coming in at half of the price of those :P
> Fingerprint magnet, so be prepared to wipe these down a bit if you are a super conscious about it
When used for gaming, there is noticeable lag especially if you are playing FPS games (i would say ~ a quarter to half of a second delay). Would recommend against these if they’ll be used specifically for gaming.
> Since these are noise canceling, the ear pads are a leather-ish type material to create a better seal, and because of this they don’t really make for good workout headphones. Moisture is easily created where the headphones sit, and you may experience heat buildup there as well.
For what these are marketed as, they nailed everything! At this price point, this is probably the best bang for the buck you can get for a wireless NC pair of cans. Would highly recommend the Space Q45s to anyone that is in looking to get a pair of NC headphones. Don’t let the price fool you!

Good Choice for Everyday Use

Overall these headphones are a good choice for every day use such as commuting or using around the house or office. The ANC is functional, the sound quality is good when tuned using the app and the fit is reasonably comfortable. I like these headphones because they provide a respectable performance at a reasonable price.
Features: The headphones do a good job with noise cancellation however you definitely pick up a white noise like hiss when the ANC is on. When I am working I like to have music playing at a low volume and that background hiss can be noticeable depending on the music. This also seemed to be more noticeable when listening to podcast or audio books as well. I found this to be fairly common with headphones in the mid-tier ANC range. At higher volume levels the background hiss fades into the music and isn’t as noticeable. The controls on the headphones are easy and fairly intuitive because they are actual switches vs touch sensors. The headphones lack Auto Pause which pauses the play when they are removed from the ears. The audio quality is good and definitely is enhanced with the use of Soundcore’s mobile app. In the app you can only reconfigure the ANC button sequence, you cannot customize the other buttons. I was able to get Siri to respond using the button for digital assistant but the results were hit or miss when I had music playing. Some times I would get a typed response on my phone without getting an audio response through the headphones. When using the headphones for phone calls the microphone pick up was good and with the wind noise reduction in the app turned on it seemed to help when using them outdoors. The battery life is projected at 50 hours which is plenty long enough for commuting and long flights.
Fit: These headphones overall are comfortable with large ear openings. The ear cups are soft and thick enough to seal out transient room noise without pinching your head. Because of this the headphones are bulkier and slightly heavier than other headphones I own. The odd thing is that these headphones have minimal foam cushioning on the upper head piece so I am more aware of the support arm on top than I like. The overall build quality of the headphones feel and look solid. The ear cups rotate so they can easy be stored in the convenient carrying case that comes with the headphones.
App: I have used Soundcore’s app for several years on several products and have always found it to be a major enhancement. In the app you can customize the noise cancellation, choose from 12 preconfigured equalizers or configure a custom equalizer to meet your listening needs.

Well built alternative to its contemporary peers, the Anker Soundcore Space Q45 is a Bluetooth over-the-ear headphone with active noise cancellation. Anker has been known for making quality products, and I have quite a few of their products in my possession. The build quality of this Anker headphone is excellent. I find it comfortable to wear, with quality components that make up the headphone. The headphone comes with two cables, a USB-A to USB-C charge cable, a 3.5mm male-to-male headphone audio cable and a fancy carry case.
Turning on the headphones for the first time after a full charge, the headphone has a familiar Anker jingle that reminds you that there is something special here. The audio prompt also provides the current status of the battery and Bluetooth settings.
The headphones pair easily to your mobile phone, but to make the most of these headphones, you will need the Anker Soundcore app. The Soundcore app is Anker’s host application on your phone that provides additional controls to headphones. By default, the audio settings on the ANC button have three options, ANC on and off and a transparent mode. The App allows for more settings, mostly in audio profiles, tailoring the sounds to your liking. The default “Soundcore Signature” provides a balance across the audio spectrum. It provides enough bass to make up for the sound, but you do have the option to boost the bass. There are 20 sound options, including podcast, piano, electronic, deep bass, and flat, to tailor your sound, and should that not meet your requirements; the app allows you to custom tune it to your preference.
The sound quality, by default, is not bad. I would have preferred more bass, but overall it's quite flat. The highs are crisp, and the lows are good enough. I enjoyed listening to my music for hours without fatigue.
The audio settings between the ANC / Transparency and Normal are hard to distinguish. I found using the app to set a custom transparency mode to talk only is very effective when you are trying to listen to music and look out for public address announcements, like at the airport. The transparency mode didn't work right for me, despite the firmware update that optimised it more but adding the custom mode helped. In theory, the transparency mode would allow piping in external noise picked up by the microphones to be heard over your music, but that didn't exactly work for me. You can drown out anything picked up, as the volume can be significantly more.
The headphone is designed with Automatic noise cancellation (ANC), a feature I love when flying. That said, the ANC works reasonably well in cutting down ambient noise, but it can be made loud enough to drown out any propeller noise with its well-cushioned ear muffs.
The headphone, as a headset replacement or using it with your phone for a phone call, works rather well. I found the microphone on the back side of the headset when correctly oriented with the left/right. You can flip the left and right ears to bring the microphones up front for a less ‘tunnel’ effect. The headphones as a conference phone are adequate for everyday use should that be needed.
So should you buy it? If you want a decent mid-range headset with decent sound quality, this headphone fits the bill. So far, I am impressed with the battery life and sound quality. The only two downsides I found were that the headphones do not breathe through their cushy headphone earmuffs. This means you have sweaty hot ears - definitely not something you should wear while working out, and it does make it a bit uncomfortable after a few hours of wear. I also wish it came with a mesh holder for the cables and included an airline two-into-one adapter for the airplane.

I recently got my hands on a pair of Soundcore headphones, and they've taken my audio experience to a whole new level. These headphones have proven to be a fantastic addition to my daily life, whether I'm working, exercising, or simply enjoying music.
One of the standout features of Soundcore headphones is their sound quality. The audio is clear, crisp, and immersive, allowing me to hear every detail in my music, podcasts, and videos. The bass is punchy without overwhelming the mids and highs, creating a well-balanced sound profile that's enjoyable across various genres.
Comfort is another area where Soundcore excels. The headphones are designed with long listening sessions in mind. The cushioned ear cups and adjustable headband provide a snug and comfortable fit, allowing me to wear them for extended periods without discomfort.
One of my favorite features is the active noise cancellation (ANC). It's incredibly effective at reducing background noise, making them ideal for use in noisy environments like coffee shops or during flights. The transparency mode is a nice touch, allowing me to stay aware of my surroundings when needed.
The battery life on Soundcore headphones is impressive as well. I can go for days without needing to recharge them, and the quick charge feature is a lifesaver when I'm in a hurry. The Bluetooth connectivity is stable, and I've never experienced any dropouts during use.
The Soundcore app enhances the overall experience. It allows me to customize the EQ settings, update firmware, and even find my headphones if they go missing. It's a user-friendly and functional companion to the headphones.
Durability-wise, Soundcore headphones are built to last. They feel robust, and the materials used are of high quality. I appreciate the inclusion of a carrying case, which helps protect them during travel.
While there are many positives, it's worth noting that the touch controls on some models can be a bit sensitive and take some getting used to. Additionally, the price point might be on the higher side for some, but the quality and features justify the investment.
In conclusion, Soundcore headphones have exceeded my expectations in terms of sound quality, comfort, and features. Whether you're an audiophile, a frequent traveler, or someone who simply enjoys good music, these headphones are a worthy choice. They've certainly become an essential part of my daily routine, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Anker under its Soundcore label is a fairly new player in the crowded Bluetooth headphone space. However, unlike other new entrants, Anker is already gaining traction as a brand and can already compete with the likes of Sony or Bose but at a more budget friendly price point. The Anger Soundcore Space Q45 ANC Bluetooth headphone Anker’s latest offering to consumers.
The Space Q45’s form factor is similar to the previous Q35 and it would be easily confused with one another. Its metal and plastic headband seems to be well built and has the right amount of tension to keep the headphone secure in your head. The Q45 has over-the-ear ear muffs but are rather on the small side that it may be difficult to determine whether it is an over-the-ear headphones or on-ear headphones. Regardless, the one inch thick muffs (and the gentle grip of the headband) give you a comfortable fit. And as part of its design aesthetic, the Q45 has circular panels on the ear muffs with the Soundcore branding. Whether you’ll like it or not is a matter of preference,
The Q45 has tactile buttons instead of touch controls found in other headsets. And while it may be a step backward for some, I find tactile buttons to be simply better, As expected, the Q45 has a power-on button, a pair of volume buttons and a play/pause button which is also functions as the answer phone button.
One of the key features of the Q45 is the battery life which is rated at 50 hours, As of this writing I haven’t fully drained the battery yet. But I have been using this headset heavily for three days and I am only halfway through the battery. At this rate, one charge can last you a week. For reference, the competition averages only a 30 hour battery life as compared to Anker’s 50 hours. Charging is done via a USB-C cable. And a hardshell carrying case is also provided.
Pairing the headphones to your phone is fairly simple. But it is recommended that you download the app (both available in iOS and Android) to maximize the features of the Q45 (as well as other Anker products). A 3.5mm jack is also provided should you need to have a wired connection.
Like most Bluetooth ANC headphones out there, an equalizer as well as presets are included. Overall the sound signature of Anker is quite good and can compete with the heavy weights. One bonus feature of the Q45 is its Q45 is its support of hi-res audio via the use of the LDAC codec. While this provides marginal improvement in audio quality, it does consume more battery life. But then again, the Q45 has a rated battery life of 50 hours in spite of the increased battery usage this is still viable. But do note that LDAC is only supported in Android devices as iOS mostly uses the AAC codec.
The ANC features of the Q45 has several levels and can is very decent at cancelling outside noise whereas canceling low level or heavy rumblings though decent is somewhat lacking. This is territory of Sony and Bose though. But I do like the transparency mode of the Q45 as it maintains the sound quality unlike that of Sony and Bose. Also if I am not mistaken, adaptive ANC is a fairly new feature for Anker which is already a common feature for other brands, Still it is worth noting the adaptive ANC is quite impressive that changes in noise cancelling functions are quite subtle and barely noticeable. Other headsets are pretty much annoying that I turn off that feature. But for the Q45, I don’t mind if I leave adaptive ANC on.
And finally, when using the headphones for calls, the voice quality is medium at best. Not bad but not exactly something to write about as the cliche goes. Voice calls get a bit choppy at times. This is where the competition leaves the Q45 behind. Still I would say call quality is still decent,
Overall, the Q45 is at par albeit a little lower than the heavyweights. But considering the price point of Anker products in general, I would say that the quality you get is worth more than the price that you would pay. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great ANC Capability and Great App Support

First off I will get the bad out of the way according to how I feel about these headphones. The sound quality is overall good, but these just aren't great headphones for bass lovers. So if you are somebody who really loves and craves deep and thumping bass in your headphones, please look elsewhere. Not that the bass is really lacking, however. The Q45 is just a more balanced sound. The build quality while good overall, still is lacking a bit in some areas. Not much padding in the top of the headband and these are a bit on the heavy side. The earpads are fairly soft, but the vinyl will get your ears sweating when it's hot outside or inside. These are also a bit bulky looking on your head and there is quite a bit of space between the side of your head and the headband.
So with that out of the way, on to the positives. Balanced sound, as previously mentioned. That is a good thing to some people. I strongly suggest downloading the Soundcore app as it has a slew of EQ options for the Q45 and you can set multiple custom EQ's and name them whatever you want. I do wish the custom EQ went lower than 100Hz, which isn't very deep in lower range.
The ANC is the real star of the show here. At this price point these have outstanding ANC. You also have ambient/transparency and normal modes which can be switched from the headphones themselves or the app. The sound signature doesn't really change when you switch ANC on like you might find in other headphones in this price range. Anker just nailed the ANC for the Q45 mid range headphones.
So overall the Q45 is a really nice pair of ANC headphones with impressive battery life and LDAC hi-res support, as well. The app has other options like wind reduction, custom noise cancellation and safe volume setting. Again, definitely DL the Soundcore app if you haven't already. So I would recommend the Q45 to anybody who wants a rock solid pair of ANC headphones at a very fair price for what you get. They just aren't the most stylish or comfortable ones out there.

These particular headphones having hearing aid equalizer tech in them called HearID. If you know somebody thst's hardvof hearing, or has damage, the testveill compensate for the frequency range in which they can hear and replicate the musuc-or voice(more importantly) that they csn hear. The end result is people who've never heardvmusic or their lived ones on the phone before, suddenly csn. It's pretty smazing tech. The only headphones that could best these are the sony XM4/5 and bose qc45. But just barely, because this has newer tech. Longer battery life. Bluetooth 5.3. While that may mean nothing to you, what it means in practicality is that you can simultaneously connect to a phone snd laptop at the same time, and take calls with best in class noise csncellstion, in full uncompressed audio, while hearing every sound with your custom HearID profile, and not having to rechsrge it for a WEEK straight. This thing is a huge leap forward for this price pount. You will be spending 3-6x this much on any other headphone to get the same feature set. Now, the downside. There is just one. The top portion of the headband is too thin. It's not as comfortable as the bose quietcomfort 45's. And that's it. If you are a youngster or pure music blaring zoomlet audiophile, this us not for you. But if you are a normal person that wants to hear sound exactly as presented, anywhere, with best in class noise cancelling, this is for you. This is normally $130, everywhere. At $70, you need to get this. Now.

More and more noise cancelling headphones are becoming more popular, this translates into the different options and different prices that currently exist and these headphones are in a balance that is noticeable in every use, they have very good sound, excellent active noise cancellation, a nice design and a long battery life.
One of the things I really like about these headphones is the comfort, I personally use headphones for long periods of time and having comfortable headphones is very important. The ear cushions are very comfortable and large enough to completely cover my ears, so when the noise cancellation is activated the experience is very satisfying.
If we consider the price we can say that you get what you pay for, I mean that in a good way because this product fulfills its purpose very well, besides having an app that is very helpful. Within the app it is possible to activate and customize the active noise cancellation, you can customize the level from 1 to 5 and also has Adaptive Noise Cancelling which is the option I use and it works quite well.
You can also select different sound effects as well as customize the EQ. If you select the Soundcore Signature preset with BassUp enabled you get very good results. The app is very simple but contains the essential customization options.
Regarding sound quality I can say that it is pretty good, enjoying listening to music with noise cancellation and BassUp enabled is very comforting, it really makes you get immersed in whatever you are listening to. The microphone does its job but nothing outstanding. The headphones can be used wired, the 3.5mm cable is included.
In summary I can say that these headphones are worth every penny, I have used premium headphones with ANC also and the truth is that these Soundcore Q45 could compete without a doubt, they have a very good autonomy and exceptional sound quality, they have their case to carry them everywhere and their charger cable with usb c connection. For its price and quality they are certainly a highly recommended active noise canceling headphones.

The Soundcore Space Q45 headphones are really good. The headphones have great features including the ability to listen to content in one of 3 modes. Normal, Noise Cancelling & Transparency. The Noise cancelling works very well in removing outside noise. It is said to be able to lock out noise from 3 levels, but I don't have the ear to decern the different levels. I cam say it blocks out noise effectively. The normal mode and Transparency mode work equally as well. The sound quality is very good. The high resolution audio is very apparent. I am not an expert on sound, but I find that these headphones hit all the marks. You can operate them with on ear button control or by way of the soundcore app which itself is basic, but fine by me. I mean today, everything gets an app and the Soundcore app has a few features and is ok. For me, Ill probably use the on ear function buttons to operate. The headphones come in a nice plastic zippered case with a charging cable. An aux cable is also attached. The headphones paired fast with my bluetooth. The connection was seamless. The headphones are very comfortable on my ears with sufficent padding. The unit, when fully charged, is said to be able to have 50 hr of playtime. I cannot yet verify 50 hours of use, but I charged it once and I have used it 4 or 5 times and battery still shows 3/4 full on the app. I have always liked Anjer products and I like these headphones. Great for every day use.

So these are a great set of noise cancelling headphones that have an expanded range into the lower bass response. Overall the delivery is fairly flat, bass doesn't feel like it's vibrating your ear but the bass is super clean and allows you to hear nuances of the music that a general headset doesn't. A good example is Promises by Nero at around the 42 second mark. It drops a bass beat that on normal headphones you can't hear has this wavering modulation between notes. It just sounds like a standard tone. With these headphones you get to hear that modulation and it really just speaks to the quality of the experience.
In terms of the noise cancelling I was able to test on a plane and at home and I really enjoyed how well it worked. In terms of the simplest test, transparency mode allowed me to hear the click of my fingers off to the side without any delay. Noise cancelling mode I could feel my fingers clicking but I couldn't actually hear it. Slightly disconcerting when you know it should be making noise but definitely speaks to how well it works. On the plane I was able to pretty much drown any conversation and engine noise to a minimum so much so that someone would have to tap me on the shoulder to get my attention.
One item of note I'll make mention of is the padding on the headband. While the arms are fairly strong so they hold the headset in place, I imagine as these break in you'll be more reliant on that top headband padding against the top of your head. To simulate I pressed slightly against the top of the headband to see how it would feel if it was dropping a little further down my head after break-in. It definitely wasn't the most comfortable experience so I'd say the best improvement for these would be if they increased that padding slightly. It went quickly from oh padding to oh I can feel the actual plastic of the headband underneath. Cups are the standard vinyl leatherette that is fairly common so if you've used them before and your ears get hot, this will be a similar experience.

Another hit from Anker

I currently own a number of Anker devices, from phone chargers to USB ports, power banks, & bluetooth speakers. The quality has been top notch throughout their line, so was anxious to try these headphones.
Upon unboxing, I have to say the first thing that impressed me was there was an actual manual, with words! Can't tell you how many times I've been befuddled opening a package and getting nothing but a QR code, or maybe a pamphlet with hieroglyphics. Two thumbs up to Anker. In another concession to clarity, the speakers themselves are imprinted with a L/R logo so you can quickly identify buttons & correct placement. A simple thing, but a nice touch.
I next downloaded the Soundcore app, and powered on the headset, the bluetooth started blinking, and it popped up immediately on my phone. Without me touching a button, it then requested a firmware update, which installed with no issue.
My immediate reaction to putting the headphones on was a comfortable feel; the sound level dropped immediately. Most comfortable pair of phones I've ever owned. Using the app, I set a limit on the sound level so I wouldn't get blasted as sometimes happens when you first power on a device or switch sources.
Started going through my phones playlist, the sound was crisp, clean, and unmuddied. There are 3 modes, noise cancellation, transparent (allowing some awareness of surroundings) and NC off. I have to say, I was not impressed with the noise cancellation off setting, the sound wasn't as clear to me. Not an issue as you'd be defeating the purpose of the set, but maybe it's a setting or equalization I missed somewhere.
Trying out the phone feature was very impressed with the clarity, probably due to the dual microphone this set is equipped with.
Besides the type C charging cord, mini jack is included if you require a plug in experience, was impressed that the jacks were gold plated.
Overall, this is a solid entry from Anker, at an affordable price.

I recently purchased q45 Bluetooth headphones with an impressive battery life, and I must say, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. These headphones have truly exceeded my expectations, and I'd like to share my thoughts in this review.
Battery Life: The standout feature of these headphones is undoubtedly their remarkable battery life. I can use them continuously for more than 30 hours on a single charge. This is a game-changer for me, as I no longer have to worry about recharging them frequently. Whether it's a long flight, a road trip, or a full day at the office, these headphones have proven to be incredibly reliable.
Sound Quality: Not only do these headphones excel in battery life, but they also deliver exceptional sound quality. The audio is crisp, clear, and immersive. The bass is deep without overpowering the mids and highs, ensuring an enjoyable listening experience for various genres of music.
Comfort and Design: The headphones are designed with comfort in mind. The over-ear cups are cushioned and adjustable, making them suitable for extended periods of use. They also fold up neatly for easy storage and portability. The build quality feels solid, and the matte finish gives them a sleek and modern look.
Connectivity: Pairing these headphones with my devices is a breeze. Bluetooth connectivity is stable, and they even support multipoint pairing, allowing me to switch between devices seamlessly.
Noise Cancellation: While not on par with some high-end noise-canceling headphones, these offer decent noise isolation, which is a welcome feature for blocking out distractions in a busy environment.
In conclusion, these Bluetooth headphones with extended battery life have become an essential part of my daily life. The combination of impressive battery life, excellent sound quality, and comfort make them a top choice for anyone in need of reliable and long-lasting wireless headphones. Whether you're a music enthusiast, a frequent traveler, or simply looking for a reliable audio solution, these headphones are a fantastic investment.
