The Soundcore over-the-ear headphone by Anker exceeds my expectations. It brings the best value because of 3 things (1) wireless bluetooth, (2) 98% noise-cancelling, and (3) 50 hours play time. That's right, 50 hours. I let the head phone fully charge after taking it out of the box. I even left the head phones on overnight and use it the next day for like 14 hours and the headphone did not die. The longest test was 2.5 hours and my ears did not even hurt. The buttons were easy to use too. I did not test this with my mobile phone making calls and only tested on iPad and my laptop. Of course the sound is great, I dunno what hi-res audio means but it is high quality to me. The only negative review is this headphone can connect to 2 devices at the same time but I cloud not hear both devices at the same time or know how to get it to work it was difficult. This would be perfect for long hours of hardcore PC gaming because of the battery life and for long plane rides. The hidden gem is a sound mode called transparency, this mode lets you listen to sounds outside your headphones so that you don't always have to go in noise cancelling mode. I cannot find a quality headphone with noise-cancelling and 50 hours of playtime at this price point. I have never heard of Anker but I am loving the brand now.

They’re really good for the price. The noise canceling isn’t as good as Bose or other brands but can’t complain for 150$

Works well but if there's too much bluetooth usage around sometimes doesn't work well

He uses them with the tv when he wants to watch loud and crazy movies and I want to read a book. We’re both happy. A real marriage saver. They connect easily through bluetooth to our new Samsung tv.

I purchased primarily for the noise cancellation feature while I was vacationing in a noisy Sonder. Love how they fit and even though it doesn’t completely cancel out all noise they’re still effective. Enjoyed listening to music the through these.

The headphones are wonderful and the price with best buy was awesome.

These are definitely bass-y on the EQ. The mids and highs actually sound really nice, but the bass just makes everything sound muddy. Any sounds below 1,000Hz is like your listening with your ears full of cotton. Most people probably won't be able to tell without a direct comparison to something better, but it definitely hurts the quality of sound. The comfort is fine. I really like metal headband, but the padding on it is lacking a bit. Clamping force keeps them in place and could be bothersome for some people. I'm not a fan of the earcup material, it's a little too squishy and is like a coffin for your ears (not in a good way). I really like the physical buttons for controls. ANC is decent. Not an industry leader, but certainly respectable and better than most. I really like the inclusion of a pass-through mode. The app is easy to use, but doesn't offer much in terms of customization. The EQ sliders are pretty limited. You can also customize what a few buttons do, but it's limited. These things aren't very loud. The loudest they really get is similar to someone screaming at the top of their lungs. This isn't an issue most of the time, but when you are listening to anything that's quiet it is annoying. The soundstage is also lacking. There's practically no sense of space with these. I listened to probably 8 different bluetooth headphones and these are the ones that sounded the best. ALL bluetooth headphones I tried had the bass cranked up from the $50 pair to the $400. These had it cranked up the least. Think of a headphones EQ like a filter on a photo. Everyone has their preference on what looks good, Some people prefer no-filter and some people like every filter. I prefer a neutral (no-filter) EQ since it really lets you listen to things the way they are supposed to sound and my review reflects that. Honestly, these are not good headphones. BUT, they are decent bluetooth headphones. If you can snag them on sale for $100 and need a pair, these are a solid option.
