Going on 2 years of use and it's held up so far!

My teenager was issued a MacBook Pro from his school but a requirement was that we had to purchase a case to put it in. That was fall of 2015 and it's still on there! (It's now Thanksgiving 2016). No problems or issues from this case. Of course, it probably helps that my kid is pretty responsible and tries to take care of stuff in his possession.

Protective shell

Independent it is light in weight but I did notice once I put it on the MacBook it did seem to become noticeably heavier. For the price paid this is a wonderful product and works as described.
