It ran hot at first but turned out that you have to be aware of background jobs syncing. There are also some updatesthat helped with the heat. One support call, couple hours of setup, and everything settled right into the 4 star raiting.

best of both worlds

I have not used windows in a long time but have needed to have windows laptop for legal documents and business purposes. I'm so used to doing everying by touch that I can always revert to it, but its awesome if you need to type or see a bigger screen to be able to do so.

Great Mac Alternative

After much research I decided on this laptop and I haven’t been disappointed. While the software is essentially different, I have been able to everything I need with no issues. 8 months in and still running smoothly.

Worth the extra $$!

After about 2 days we were not happy with our original purchase and decided to spend the extra money and returned our original purchase for the HP. It is MUCH quieter and the SSD is fast! Now that we have an SSD laptop, we will never go back to a traditional hard drive.

On it's way back from repair

When the fan ran at high speed, it would make a clicking noise. Couldn't return it to BB because I had already upgraded it to Windows Pro. Supposed to be delivered back from HP tomorrow.
