Considering the reviews about heating issues on another brand, I settled on the HP as the best selection for my needs. Has met my expectations over this first month of ownership.

Great looks but poor battery life, take your pick
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the form factor of this HP Spectre 13.3 inch laptop. Was able to upgrade the SSD to 1 TB. I love the classic silver finish. The biggest challenge - this thing has a terrible battery. I do not care what HP says about that, but I have turned off all the background events, generated the battery report, re-built windows from the ground, also I have a non 4k screen and a minimalistic startup, still I get around 4 hours at the most. I have used HP for the last 10 years of my life, but it does not seem likely that I will be buying another HP anymore, its going to be the macbook, just for the battery life !

Great value for high-end Ultrabook

Once a purveyor of cheap, plasticky, unreliable machines, this computer is pretty much the opposite. Thoughtfully designed, quality materials, and excellent bang for the buck. Don't hesitate to purchase this if you need a MacBook-like laptop with all the extra features and value you'd expect from a Windows computer.

Got a great price - so overall good value

It's nice. Very fast with very good battery life. The keyboard is offset to the left so it takes some time to adjust. You will make mistakes. Don;t know why HP did that.
