This is my second Spectre. I gave my first one to my son as a gift a few months after I got it. This model is a definite upgrade with the larger SSD, I thought I had a problem with it recently and HP was quick to help resolve it in chat. I was the problem though. Battery life has been good, The UHD screen looks great.

I got this for my shop. I use it daily for administration duties and bring to floor for programming machinery etc. Great quality, but recently I did see little dot on screen that goes away when I press on touch screen. Not a issue right now. It comes and goes. Would buy again

Love the versitility of this computer, as it easily switches between computer mode and tablet mode. The touch screen is nice as it doesn't leave fingerprint smudges like most touch screens. The screen view is crisp and easy on the eyes working on it all day. Response time is very fast. Very happy with this computer.

Well packaged laptop comes with a sheath. Not too much junkware preloaded. The flexibility to use in tablet mode for reading or watching a video is nice. Set up is easy, but if you don't want to store your information in the cloud, remember to turn it off during setup. Great sound system and video. Great purchase.

Great laptop option versus college bookstore price.

I bought this laptop for college, and it has been perfect for my career. I study mechanical engineering which has many different clases that require different uses in computers. When I got to graphics and design, being able to use it as a tablet was wonderful Would recomend!

This is a very nice laptop for going to school. I can type, write, and sometimes doodle when I get bored. It has some weight to it, but I don't really mind since my last one was much heavier. I really do recommend this laptop for students who would use electronics more than paper and for people who likes to draw.

I'd had my eye on this Spectre laptop, a big pricey, but watching sales, I jumped on it during the Black Friday pre-sales. It has intel i7, and 16 GB memory with a beautiful dark ash silver finish, I've been an HP fan for at least 3 of my laptops and expect to be equally thrilled with this speedier, updated HP.

Great computer, really fast, love the tablet mode.

This laptop performs beautifully, and looks stunning, the screen is so sharp I seldom bother to connect it to the monitor I had used with my former laptop. The battery seems to lasts forever and it's so light and thin overall. Can't imagine life without it.

Hewlett Packard should not have made the function keys on this model where you need to hit the FN key and F2 to use the edit function. If you hit the F2 key only, it will change the lighting. There are similar problems with other standard function keys. I have a HP computer at work and when you hit the F2 key, it does the edit function. Everything else on this computer is very good.

Super fast. Comes with pen. Has 10 key. I love it.

This laptop is fast! The screen is crisp and clear, others have commented on how nice the screen looks. I like the backlit keyboard and the fact that you can turn it on or off. My only complaint would be that I wish it had an additional USB port.
