I have no more time to tolerate the service I received from Geek Squad. I purchased a 3 year agreement on my laptop. I was having an issue with the screen. I drove to the store to have Geek squad check it out. They told me "Sorry you don't have an appointment. You will need to go home and schedule one" Ok, no problem. Perhaps I was too aggressive to think they would look at the computer I purchased at their store as a walk in. I went home and made an appointment for a week later. I went to the store. "Sorry sir, you made an appointment for a computer but it was not a computer service appointment. We can't help you. However, here is a box and you can just send the computer to Geek Squad and that is probably what we are going to do anyway" Ok. Once again I am trying to keep my composure. I pack the computer up in the box and send it off. It comes back a couple weeks later. It seems to be working. The issue I was having was that it began to screen flicker after being on for many hours. This doesn't appear to be occurring now but let me check the slip they sent home with the computer. There is a "post op checklist" However there is no mention of what actions they had to take. Did they replace parts? Did they reboot it a certain way? I better call to confirm. I call to confirm. "This is Geek Squad. We are experiencing very long waits at least 30 minutes. If you would like we can call you back" Once again I try to keep my composure. We all get busy at work. I'll let them call me back. 40 minutes later a guy gets on the phone who speaks English poorly and tells me that even though he sees my work order his department can't help me. He will have to transfer me. So I wait and wait and wait and finally I get a new guy on the phone with similar inability to speak English. He tells me that he can't help me and that I probably should just call the store that I purchased the computer at. At this point my patience had run out. I voiced this dissatisfaction in such a manner that he felt compelled to hang up on me. So.....that has been my experience with the Geek Squad.

Got this on black Friday sale for $1099. Super fast with i7 and SSD.
