Never buying HP computer again.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this laptop 18 months ago. after doing an update all of sudden now it is not turning on. Just beeping. most likely motherboard is fried. I will never buy another HP product. Second computer, one desktop , onel laptop, to crash and burn just short of 2 years . I wish I had bought the GSP on this. too much money for too little support.

Needs Updated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Old tech. Shouldn’t be selling these as new products when they’re slower than the oldest new products.

HP wireless not working
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have talked to HP support about this problem 10 times, they tell me it's my slow internet, all my other computers work fine this one is always looking or resetting the wireless, it will not stay hooked up to the internet. Then on top of that the screen jumps all over the place and even sends before you are finished, not happy with this computer.

Nope
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you just need a regular computer I loved this one—really pleasant user experience. But I Got this computer for arch school. Battery totally died out three weeks after I got it because I was using architectural software... strange since it’s marketed as being able to handle such things.

Bad computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this on sale for Black Friday like $600 off and I thought it was going to be a good computer but just the third time I tried to use it it wouldn’t charge and I didn’t feel like a computer that I spent over 1k on should be acting up that quick so I returned it and got an apple

Fits my needs perfectly - fantastic value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have quite a few devices from high end gaming desktops (Alienware) , connected notepads (Samsung), MS Surface GO, a very new Samsung Spin 7 2in1 and others. All have their place in my environment whether when travelling to having in parallel with my work notebook or if I feel like gaming or doing VR. That said, I thought I wanted a high end gaming notebook and purchased an MSI w/1070 and 512SSD but I found it to "feel old school" as compared to the Samsung Spin 7 or MS GO, both of which are 13.3" and 10" respectively. I like Window's hello facial recognition, fingerprint reader, light weight, long battery life and decent casual gaming performance for the most of my PC time. I returned the MSI, which was a very powerful and solid machine, just seemed "old school:" for me now. I bought this HP Spectre 360 15.6" 4K screen with a dedicated middle range graphics 150MX card and 512GB SSD w/16GB Ram. I must say that I am extremely pleased with the "new school" feel and very good performance. It is solidly built, has a great keyboard layout with importantly a 10 key built in and illuminated. The wireless adapter is solidly reliable with great transfer speeds. Playing most Steam games at high to sometimes very high resolution is smooth. The battery life is great and it is quite light for its size. Comes with a very nice HP Pen. Movies and Netflix look fantastic o the 4k screen. B&O sound for a laptop is top rate. Plenty of connections, ports and card reader. When unboxing you can see the quality of the materials and how it is premium packaged. It also comes with a very nice custom sleeve. It is obvious that this is a top end HP product. I was able to get this when Best Buy had it for $500 off recently which is rare and that made the deal almost mandatory for me. What a value!!!!! At retail price this is still quite a value. I like the 15.6 screen for most of my laptop usage. I will switch to the Samsung Spin 7 which is also an I7 with 512GB 13.3" with UHD620 graphics when I am in a smaller space, but this HP Spectre has become my main go to daily usage laptop. My advice would be if the specs fit your usage needs, get this model It just feels good in use, modern, fast and steady. Best Buy offers many other great models of different configurations for almost any need. In my case I was thinking I wanted a high end gaming laptop but found that it wasn't a good fit after getting used to the MS GO and the Samsung Spin 7, going with this size screen that has 4k resolution s the best thing I have purchased in awhile. Kudo's to Best Buy for taking back the MSI and allowing me to have a great customer experience, no hassle and ending up with what I feel is the best fit for me.

Quick and Dirty Review
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here is a really quick non-constipated review. I am a web developer so I use the computer for not only web-based coding but design work as well. I have had a really hard time finding a machine that is both fast and contains sufficient space. I finally found it! Pros: Fast (both loading and multi-tasking) Sufficient Memory and storage space (Photoshop, browsers, video software is no problem running at once) Beautiful cover Crisp clear display - a little reflective, but not too bad. Meh: Battery - acceptable/standard, nothing special. Hinges - A little too loose. Not too loose, but could probably be a little tighter so that when you put it on a table it doesn't fall flat. Cons: Bluetooth. For whatever reason, it is difficult to initially pair devices anytime the machine is turned on. It can take up to a minute for them to communicate.

Great performance, Overall satisfied
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall happy with the purchase. Spent higher than planned but it's worth it. Couple of drawbacks- fan makes noise randomly and stays on constantly until next time it decides to stop making noise. Reported to Best Buy right away after purchasing but they said we have to send it back to hp for repairs :( ...I just decided to live with it since I didn't wanted them to screw up on my new laptop. Overall performance is great though. It came with fancy pen which I never used :D

Wonderful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've waited to review this because I think its pointless to review that I haven't throughly tested out , I've had this computer for around two and half months now and its done everything so well. I've put in through gaming just to see how it would handle everything and its done great, I've done my photography through it as well , again the screen is beautiful and vibrant. It assists me so much in my photography. I want to keep this relatively short and last big compliment on this laptop is its speed. It always boots up in under 10-15 seconds every time if not quicker than that and having 10 taps open with Spotify in the background along with lightroom too , it has done every thing i need it too. At first I didn't know I made the best investment in buying this laptop but it performed in every aspect I've asked it too. OVERALL GREAT COMPUTER !
