This laptop performs well. It's a bit heavy, but that's expected with 15" screen.

It is incredibly fast .love the color and how slick it looks i think its great value for money.

Great screen and was easy to use but I wished it had more usb ports However, I did use an extension.

I do like this computer very much, It´s a 15 inch display but I have an old Dell XPS 17 inch and actually the actual screen or display it´s almost the same, so this is a 15 inch with a bigger display, or a bigger display in a very light laptop. Really like the new version, love the speakers, love tablet mode, I think it´s amazing for the price.

Had the computer a few weeks and it's done everything I've needed. SSD is fast. Runs Photoshop like a charm. Not a gamer, so haven't tested that out. Battery life is as advertised. Very quiet, fan doesn't come on very often that I've noticed. Cool that it can function as a tablet. Glad I purchased this over the more expensive Dell models.

Speed and memory are excellent, really like it, easy to use. Touch screen really responsive.

I love the look and performance of this laptop. I have purchased a few of these already. I purchased one for my wife. After seeing how good it was compared to my Surface I was happy to get a graduation present for my niece. No problems ever reported of either device to me, but I always get the warranty Geek Squad Protection plans for them in case.

This is a great computer, SSD makes it fast and 4k screen gives great details on photos!

Loads very quickly. Would have liked an additional USB - comes with one but 2 lightning ports.

Bought this amazing computer on black friday for $500 discount. I could't be happier. I think it is a good value even at full price. I has all the ports I need and want. Latest thunderbolt technology is great. I only wish I could have gotten all that this computer has in a 14" computer. Kinda big to use in tablet mode. Check it out, great reviews from others influenced my decision to buy this model.

I purchased the September 2018 model #15-CH011DX. After reading several reviews on this computer, as well as just coming off an incredibly awful experience with an HP direct custom build of a different laptop (It ultimately ended in them agreeing to refund me a month and a half after purchase), I have to say I was hesitant to purchase this model. I went back and forth to my local store several times before deciding to give it a go. I've owned this computer now for a few months and I have no regrets. This has been the best laptop I've ever owned. I have not experienced any of the defects other reviewers had mentioned. No coil whine. No overheating. Once it did get a little warm while playing a game, but not hot. The hinges aren't floppy. The only drawback is that the design of the alluminum case has somewhat sharp edges that dig into my left wrist as I type (depending on how/where I'm sitting.) Also there is no tilt support on the default pen. It is slightly heavy if you're trying to hold it in one hand/tablet mode for an extended period of time, but personally I like the weight of it. It's lighter than my old laptop, and it still feels durable. The aluminum case looks sleek and fancy, but it is a finger print magnet. This machine handles all my art programs marvelously. I have run Photoshop and Clip Studio EX on this with my Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 for a couple hours without needing to plug the computer in.

Its the fasted computer I have ever used and the picture is better than real life.

Finally got my hands on this during black Friday. Price is high and will always be for the Spectre. I began to edit videos and it runs the program really smooth. 4k display is clear, speakers are still ok but I use my headphones when editing. I had a 13 in and this 15 in weighs about the same. This is the older model, the new model has the angled corners. Comes with a nice leather protection case. Only downfall is the USB c ports, we're already that pass the USB 3 and would like this to have more C ports.

I took a leap and decided to go back to school at the ripe young age of 46... and was required to use a windows machine for my selective program. I've been a mac user for the last 10 years of my life and was nervous at first but this machine calmed my fears. The bootup time with the SSD is non existent. Windows 10 takes a little getting used to, but with time you're flying around it like a pro. I'm running SQL Server 2014, Visual Studio, and numerous debugging tools on the machine and it doesn't even cause a hiccup in the processing speed. If I had to find anything to complain about (and this is really digging), they placed the power button on the outside edge of the laptop. There have been several times where I have shoved it into my backpack and accidentally powered it on. If buying this machine, I recommend getting a usb c dock to allow for multiple monitors and a wired network connection.
