Decent collection at an affordable price now in 4K.

Movies work just fine, but the steelbook is dented on the edge. Not sure what the return policies are during the current situation.

I've been on the fence as to whether or not I should pick this up since I saw it available for pre-order. The price is pretty hefty for 5 films but then again I remember watching the first 3 films throughout my teenage years and loving them. I also mildly enjoyed the reboot for what it was. I actually pre-ordered and canceled a few times and left it off thinking I'm not getting it but somehow it appeared at my door anyways. I don't even see it in my orders anywhere. I don't regret it though. The package comes with 2 steelbooks, one for each franchise. The artwork for both is great and they are matte, not glossy. The original series by Raimi displays Spider-man and the main villains from the trilogy layered onto a black and red/orange silhouette of the George Washington Bridge. The reboot is similar, the hero and two of the villains but this time layered on a blue Manhattan background. Almost perfect for any collection! One of the big issues that make it fall short are that there is no spine title for either one, its either a plate of red or blue. The other issue is that there are only two disc placements in each steelbook and no plastic flaps for holding discs. This means that in the original trilogy all three blu-rays are fit into the left disc placement and all three 4K versions are on the right, jam-packed in there. The same goes for the Amazing reboot but the third discs in that one are both bonus features ones. This means you can easily scratch these discs if not careful. Besides the pitfalls of the steelbooks, all the films are excellent reference material for 4K and look gorgeous. You can imagine almost seeing this for the first time if in a home theater. It's incredibly detailed, the colors are excellent, and HDR adds that sense of seeing something for the first time. They did a beautiful job bringing these to 4K and fans won't be disappointed. So if you can deal with the spines that have no titles and having the discs crammed into the plastic placements, I would go for it if you are a fan and don't mind doling out $100 for 5 films. If you are worried about the scratching of the discs, waiting for all to be released individually would be wise. I certainly won't buy another set if there ever will be another format, this one's a keeper. It really feels like you are watching it for the first time. You will notice details that you may have forgotten about and were not reminded of by the DVD or Blu-rays. Enjoy!

To start off, simply reviewing the product not the movies themselves. The quality of 4K is fantastic, the first one has some grain though but still great quality. They definitely did a good job remastering them in UHD. I like the fact that they’re in Steelbook which does contain two different Steelbook for each franchise. They are both packaged in a plastic case. The artwork for both are great but do not like the fact that the spine contains no name for the individual Steelbooks. Also, the discs are stacked on top of each other on the inside which I am not a fan of since they have the capability of getting scratched easier. Watching them does bring back memories of me as a kid however!

Awesome collection for 4k tv, paired with rewards certificates i got this at a value i do not regret! The first two films are a little grainy, but thats to be expected for a film of its age. The last 3 movies are super with a oled tv. Highly recommend. Oh and the steelbook art is beautiful.

This set contains five fun movies on multiple mediums but there are some things you should know first. One, this set is definitely just the steelbook Spider-Man Trilogy set and the steelbook Amazing Spider-man Duology set put together in a flimsy plastic case you will probably want to throw out by the time it arrives to you It is not a unique all inclusive product, it is the two smaller products wrapped together. The two steelbooks are nice but unlabeled on the sides and on the inside they are just a ton of discs stacked on a pike in a way that assures they are neither safe or protected.. The digital copy situation is an absolute mess. The digital copies for the three Spider-Man movies are in 4K, but not accessible in Ultraviolet or Movies Anywhere. In fact, they only seem to be accessible on this weird Sony app you probably can't even run if you don't have a Bravia smart TV. The digital copies for the two Amazing Spider-Man movies can be redeemed across Ultraviolet and Movies Anywhere and all your associated accounts, but are only in 1080p. The movies are nice and the price is excellent but there are a lot of flaws that you should know about for their potential capacity to make you wait for the next collection.

This all the movies are shot in native 4k and picture is awesome. The steelbook has great art work.
