I bought this for my nephew for Christmas, so that he can play something other than Mario. I watched him try it out right away and he enjoyed it. Thank goodness. It seemed pretty cool. And the guy in the store told me that if you are the squid and you squirt the paint, you can then swim in it; cool.

I was quite disappointed that this game requires so much internet access. We have unstable internet in our area and playing online wouldn't work. I was hoping this would be like MarioKart where the whole family could battle. The game looks fun. Guess we'll have to wait until they upgrade our lines. Just a year to go. I would recommend it to those with reliable internet.

I was so excited when I saw the trailer for this game. It's an amazing game for the Switch and fun for anyone of age. And fun fact, it continues from the first game. And here's a challenge now, you get to play each level with different weapons. Which is amazing! I would highly recommend this game to buy.

This is the way to play a shooter. Timed matches, plenty of strategy, and completely kid friendly.

I really didn't think much of it but i just bought to have a good online competitive game. and this game ended up turning out to be a fantastic game. i cant stop playing this game. its good for a couple of matches in bed before going to sleep.

Splatoon 2 is a fun shooter for all ages. My entire family loves to play.

This is not a hardcore shooter game. This is a fun shooter game. Just like Mario Kart is Nintendo's racing game, Splatoon 2 is Nintendo's shooter game. It's simple, tons of fun, and easy to play a quick match or all day/night! My favorites parts are Turf Wars and Salmon Run. Splatoon 2 is a great game!

Very entertainimg for all the family, a new concept to soend hours

Preached as a Christmas gift for my daughter and so far she loves it.

The first game was good but this was such a massive improvement. The new mode is very fun even with the few limitations. The online play is full a great experiences and the added league battles are a huge plus. Nintendo has created a great product here for those who want a different shooter experience.

Seems like a fun game just having a hard time getting into it. Might be a better home game than on the road.

Splatoon is very fun and friendly but also competitive! It has multiple modes for you to play with your friends but fair warning there is not a party up system. So you have to join your friend while they are in a match. There are multiple weapons and gear to unlock to keep you playing for a long time.

The singleplayer content alone is a blast, but the multiplayer modes are the main draw of the game. Large variety of maps, weapons, and gear to play with that will keep you begging for more. For the very few who played the first game, this one is twice as good in almost every away.

Great non traditional 3rd person shooter! Lots of customization and a different take on multiplayer shooting games. Note this does require Nintendo Online and a WiFi connection for multiplayer. There is a single player campaign but don’t buy the game for it. MP is the real star here.

My son wanted this game for Christmas but Nintendo never seems to put games on sale. He prefers physical copies but the digital was 20 bucks off. I ordered it on line, best buy sent the code and within a couple hours (our internet speed isn't the greatest), it was ready to play.

I never played the first game and was surprised how well this game was put together and how fun it is.

This game is fun because it has more weapons than Splatoon. They keep updating and adding more weapons.

Its a good fun game however i was pretty disappointed that there is not a two player split screen option.

It's really fun. It's a good game to play online(while it's still free) with friends or with family.

The reviews are right - this is the FPS that is for people FPS people and people that don't normally like FPS. The style and flavor is amazing. The multiplayer matches are feel-good and never feel-bad bc the emphasis is on painting more than the other team, and not on kills. This game gets it right.
