This is easily the 2nd best game currently on the switch behind Zelda of course. My son plays this a ton and he was a big fan of the original too. Add the new features and the mobility of the switch and this is the perfect game for a 7-12 year old.

Excellent game, ok value. Needed it in a hurry as a present, so I chose to buy new at BestBuy. Their price was high but competitive, and their service and delivery are reliable.

If you're new to the switch like me and searching for a shooter to play, this one is awesome. It isn't necessarily a good replacement for COD, but I feel like once you understand the objectives and controls, you'll be happy with your purchase.

I just got a Nintendo switch and was a bit worried as to whether of be able to pick out up quickly especially since this was the first game I bought. No regrets! I love it. Still working my way up to the ranked battles but it's super fun.

Splatoon 2 flips typical multiplayer shooters are their head and changes the premise with spraying ink on the ground (or another objective) instead of attacking other players. It's easy to learn and hard to master, but boy, it's a whole lot of fun.

Splatoon 2 is basically the first Splatoon, but with more of everything. You can bling out your character, purchase new upgrades using in-game credits, and have a blast with additional game modes. But why, oh why, is there no local multiplayer? It seems too big of a miss to be an oversight, so was it intentionally left out? Splatoon 2 gets dinged a whole star for its omission.

Very intuitive with the gyro motion. Extremely fun playing online.

Splatoon 2 is a wonderfully fun game with a great cast of characters. I enjoy playing it a lot. However, there are a lot of design flaws that hinder the experience. A lack of a killfeed, weird map rotation system, and other issues...there are many many very small things that could be fixed to make this a five star game. But it is still very fun and I dont regret the purchase.

My girls love this game. The controls are a bit complicated with the multiple camera angles and movement but I think with some practice it will get easier. Graphics and content are awesome.

Fun game. The splatfests are great and the survival mode is very addictive.

If you like the first one this is a no brainer. If you didn't like the original this is still worth a try. There are more tracks and an easier learning curve. Great for friends and best part is multiplayer which will cost nominal charge next year.

ONline gameplay might be a little annoying, controls are a little strange

This game is a blast, but it's mind numbing how foolish Nintendo is with the multiplayer in this game. Want to play with a friend? Good luck - its chaos just trying to get into a game together. Want to play on the same team? Good luck - it's a dice roll as you can't choose teams. Nintendo is years ahead in the gameplay and years behind in the matchmaking. Such a shame.

Play while online is free. Great and fun. Worth the money if you have GCU.

My kids love to play this game all this time it is very exciting

Love this game. Very stylized 3rd person shooter for all ages. Goal of most modes is to paint the floor with your teams color. Single player story mode that is included in addition to the multiplayer is very under rated. Overall a great purchase.

If you've played Splatoon on the Wii U, you won't find much difference. But that's not a bad thing. The game has a good story mode with great, quick matches for multiplayer. Definitely a recommendation if you want a twist on the standard shooter.
