Overall good follow up game to the original, found it harder to play in handheld mode vs playing on tv

This game is ideally for online players in a more colorful battle scheme. My brothers enjoy playing this game as do I when im looking for some not so stressful gaming.

We bought this as a family game a la original Splatoon methodology. Unfortunately, this is a single player game with multiplayer online only available. Biggest disappointment in multiplayer, single console gaming since COD revised their single console multiplayer availability. I have three stars simply because u have not played single player mode.

Got Splatoon 2 for my son as a birthday present. He loves it and has played it almost nonstop for days.

This is a great game that compares to paintball. Sadly, only one person can play at a time per console.

Though I really wish they would add local multiplayer to Splatoon. Would make the game so much better

I bought this for my son, who is a gamer, and he has raved about it.

Sadly this game has people posting homophobic and racist comments when you start playing connected online. The games lobby is a city with characters with picture bubbles above their heads. In the bubbles are inappropriate pictures and comments that Nintendo doesn't filter. When my seven year old daughter saw these it was upsetting. We didn't want to connect online but the game forced us to, said it had a required update. The game was unplayable without connecting. Also, we thought the game would have modes like Mario Kart where it can be played offline with bots or at least a 2 player mode, but you can't. There's a limited single player story mode and all the combat is online only. You can't even purchase new clothes for your characters unless you level up playing online. Not the game we were expecting, and definitely not what my seven year old wanted. 2 stars because the design is cute and the colors and concept are fun, just too many things that kept us from having fun with it.

Nice to get people to work together. Great for kids to learn team arena battle gameplay.

Fun game with lots to do. Only downside is now having to pay for online play for the Switch

I bought this for my 5 year old son for his birthday. He seems to like it. I don't play the game.

i love this game. I really enjoy the salmon rush mode. I just wish it was available all the time.

A fun new addition to a new console. Nothing too difficult too it, and the online multiplayer is fun

Splatoon 2 is a good game. Too bad there wasn't a way to play multiplayer locally with split screen.

Splatoon 2 brings the pain(t) with a great new co-op mode and the best updates from its predecessor.

The biggest problem I have is the aiming feels a bit off compared to what I'm used to in any shooters. In the end, this still works for this game since you actually don't need to even aim directly at someone, but close to where you expect them to be. The games network setup is spotless though, zeroes lag spikes, ping issues or any server related problems.
