Lots of fun easy to use definitely recommend to others

Splatoon is an excellently designed game, with a few mechanical issues while aiming uses movement of the Switch, but it’s deffinitely designed for a younger audience than me at 23.

The game is fun. You run around and paint stuff. But I was disappointed when I got home to find out that you need an entire extra system and game to be able to play two players.

My son played this game for like a week only. After that he’s not at all interested in playing anymore. It was a waste of money. Should’ve bought a different game instead.

Meh. Comes highly reviewed but I was hoping for more as a single player experience. In order to really take advantage of this game you need to pay for a Nintendo online account, an added expense that I wasn't prepared for. On top of that, gameplay is really only middling. My kids enjoyed up it up to a point but it certainly wasn't a hit with them like something like Mario Kart. I'm coming away generally disappointed.

This game is for 12 years and older pretty hard to play almost like I don’t understand what it’s all about

Heard a lot of good things about Splatoon. Game just was not for me. The social/MP experience needing a smartphone and separate app is also a huge deal breaker.

this game could have been so good. the gameplay itself is good but in trying to avoid online problems nintendo does a terrible job of implementing its online play. new players will take hours just to be able to last more than a few seconds in a game before getting killed because of the better weapons the experienced players have. there are far too many limitations on a game that is meant to be played online for fun.

Heard great things. It looked like a lot of fun. I only rated it a 3 because I didn’t like it and read a lot of reviews saying it’s for everyone. It is not.

The single player is very fun. Really found the online is experience to be repetitive. If you bring in friends, you might not even play on the same team. Really strange.

My kids love this game, but they can't play it together. Unlike Mariocart, there is no split screen two player mode so the fun turns to fighting for younger children.

This is a fun game but it is a very safe game. It has chat capabilities but you will need to use your smartphone as a mediator and to me that is unacceptable.

Not sure why all the love for this game. Terrible menus, boring single player, not local Co op, and 5 minutes of pointless story text every time you login.

If you like online multiplayer and Nintendo. This is the game for you. Possibly the best online multiplayer player game currently on the switch. Tons of fun. Great looking graphics, and so unique and different from anything else I’ve ever played. This is a must buy for all switch owners.

I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about this game, given that it seems very childish. But let me tell you, it’s so fun you won’t think that it’s childish for very long! I’ll also say that my three year old also enjoys watching me play! Great game, great music and gameplay! See you in the arena!

Good game for little kids. However, I thought that this game was for more than 1 player, and it is not. For bigger than 8 year old, it is kind of boring!

Not my style kinda game. But it seems to be well set up

I wish I could return this game. I wish I knew that you have to purchase as subscription to play the game.

Loved this game until Nintendo put a pay wall behind half the features of the game by making you pay to pay online via other players

My son has been singing about this game for ages now. So pros in their marketing team. The game is ok for adults but is geared more for kids.
