My sons really enjoy this game. The game play is great, and I love the colorful animation style. My only complaint is that it would have been if it weren't as similar to the first one.

The original Splatoon on Wii U was one of the best games for that system. This sequal manages to be better than its predecessor with improved gameplay mechanics all-around, noticably better graphics (put the two games side-by-side and there are slight improvements), a great soundtrack, and easily more content than the first game. Presentation is great all-around. Best multiplayer game on Nintendo Switch besides Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Fans of shooters from other platforms should really take the time to check this NS exclusive out and give it a try. Overall, a great game worth getting for anyone who wants years worth of great, multiplayer fun!

Bought for a friend while we wait for splatoon 3. great game

This may be the same formula but it has been refined to almost perfection. Also salmon run is amazing!

Expectations of this game were matched pretty well. Very fun game and very interesting. Controls may need time to getting used to, and the online match making is pretty smooth as well.

I've enjoyed this even more than the first. The controls are easier to master, and the gameplay options are more flexible. I like having the opportunity to compete with friends, too.

As much as I loved the first Splatoon, this one felt more like an enhancement than the next step. As someone who doesn't play shooters, I don't know if this is par for the course.

Splatoon 2 is more of what the first was and it excels at being flat-out fun. Better balancing, tighter maps for more intense combat, Splatoon 2 is a no-brainer for anyone who owns the Switch and enjoys competitive games. The only issues with the game is lack of voice chat or better ways to play with friends which sadly are focused on the Switch itself and not a reflection of the game. Still, for what it is it's definitely a blast.

Brought this for my daughter the day it came out and she loves it. Have to say it looks real fun...

Absolutely love this game and also love the fact that Nintendo keeps updating and adding new weapons!
