The game is great. I wasn't a big fan of the original but I went ahead and bought this one hoping for better and mainly due to the quality of the Nintendo Switch this game feels fresh and very enjoyable. The single player is a series of challenge levels basically but creates a fun challenge and enjoyment when away from online connections. The bad part is the voice chat and forming party with friends is handled through the horrible phone app for multiplayer and presents challenges when being forced to us it. Overall the game is solid and works great on the switch or dock. Worth a buy!

Recommend picking this one up. It's fun playing solo and even better with friends!

The original Splatoon was such a unique and fresh game when it first came out on the Nintendo WiiU. Now on the Switch, Splatoon 2 boasts better graphics and multiple gameplay updates from the first, a new horde-based game mode, and an all-new single-player campaign (which, although it is recommended, does not require you to have played through the original Splatoon's to understand the story).

My son loves the game and the console I would recommend this to friends and family

Have been playing zelda non stop since March. Have bought 11 other games but keep going back to zelda botw untell splatoon came out. Its great and a must have.

This game is colorful and delicious. So much fun in such a little squiddy package.

I loved the original Splatoon, and in many ways the sequel is an improvement. Splatoon 2 offers more game modes (including a fun horde mode), and the same addictive play. The single player mode is fine, but a little clunky. My main issue is the game is actually less intuitive to play on the Switch than original on the Wii U. Respawning to desired points on the map requires more button presses and doesn't always work properly. The motion/gyro controls don't seem as precise as they did in the first game. Overall a good game, and hopefully it gets continued support from Nintendo.

Was a little misled - only two players if you buy another Nintendo Switch??? Kind of a rip off, but the game is fun.
