I have enjoyed my time with the game. Surprisingly the motion controls work well in docked and undocked mode. This is important because motion controls are more accurate than using analog sticks for aiming. I wish you could access all modes all the time. The in-game currency can be a little annoying with how single-player and multi-player unlockable content are walled off.

This item was a gift for an 11yr old boy. He says it’s a blast!

So we purchased this as a gift for our 8yr old kid and right away we saw the “new game” excitement on her face. She enjoyed the game play and would advance through levels pretty easily up until the point where we had to limit her access to the game due to increases in her stress levels. Overall, it’s a pretty cool game but definitely pay attention to the ratings. Unfortunately, we didn’t at the time but we will hold it until she gets older.

I originally thought this game would be a silly one use game for my 13 year old son. However, a good story line, graphics, and gameplay has my son still interested in this colorful child appropriate game. I would highly recommend Splatoon to any family with young children. My son said play this game to add a bit of fun and some color to your day!

It’s a fun game and has a challenging multiplayer. I dislike the matchmaking process and that you cant choose what level you play on multiplayer.

What an interesting and fun game. Concept real easy. Just cover as much territory with your color paint and you will. Opponents can cover your ink color with theirs to cover more ground. Countless hours of fun for anyone that comes over. Easy learning curve.

At first, I did not know what to think of this shooter game, but after playing several hours online, I really enjoy it! I love the multiplayer strategy. The single player mode however is not worth the money in my opinion. If you are buying for the single player mode, I would spend my money elsewhere. But if you're looking for a fun, multiplayer online game, give this a try!

My family and I love this title. It is a great addition to our switch collection and much deeper than the original game. We love all the new game modes and you can even use your amiibo's from the original game. We have been playing it non stop since we picked it up. This was also my first pre order from best buy and it was an easy pick up. It's a must own for switch owners.
