The game is fun to my kids but I really don't think it's much more than the same concept as the first game.

It is really a great gift for the family to enjoy all of us like watching it the colors keep everybody interested waiting on our turn

I bought this game on day one, and have played it at least once a week since. Nintendo has kept the game fresh with updates, the gameplay is fantastic, the matchmaking is quick, there's plenty to do and secrets to find in the single player mode, and Salmon Run offers lots of challenge and is the mode that I play the most. Fun for all ages.

After playing 1st splatoon on the wiiu splatoon 2 improved a lot of things and im very impressed. The only downside there is no split screen option unfortunately. Other than that its an excellent multiplayer and single player experience. Definitely must have if you have a switch.

If you're new to the Splatoon series, this game has something to offer for both amateurs and advanced players. While beginners might have a slight disadvantage, it isn't difficult to master the weapons and figure out your own battle strategy. Winning takes a little luck, but the hands on experience does help you learn the game quickly and improve.

If you're planning on playing online, this game is excellent.

I didn't play the original, so my experience will be merely this one. It's great. I THOROUGHLY enjoy the Salmon Run game mod, I play it 9/10 times I boot this up. If you are more into competitive game modes though then you'll find even more content than me in this game! I enjoy the competitive, but it's just not as relaxing as the coop for me :)
