I didn't play the original, so my experience will be merely this one. It's great. I THOROUGHLY enjoy the Salmon Run game mod, I play it 9/10 times I boot this up. If you are more into competitive game modes though then you'll find even more content than me in this game! I enjoy the competitive, but it's just not as relaxing as the coop for me :)

Gameplay is great, I found that it's slightly easier to play in handheld mode, but it's a great game no matter what way you play.

This is a great shooter game for younger kids because it doesn't use real guns and is way less violent than a typical shooter.

Bought this to have another game for my Switch, while it is fun, and the game looks gorgeous, it does get monotonous fairly quickly.
