It's a lot of fun, but if you've played Splatoon you know what to expect. With GCU unlocked totally worth it, without? Not so much.

I played a ton of Splatoon 1 and I am having a blast with Splatoon 2 it is everything that was great about the first game and more.

This game is fantastic. I never played the first game on Wii U so it was a completely new experience. I love how the game is designed. You control territory by painting the ground. The variety of weapons makes the combat incredibly fun. I've yet to try Salmon run so I'll save my judgement on that mode till later. I highly recommend this game.

Online play is fun and easy enough for younger kids to play.

Good game for beginners getting use to the swithc system.

If you loved the first, you will love the second. There are a few new weapons and modes to play. If you are looking for local multiplayer, that has been removed, so don't keep that in mind. The new mode Salmon run can only played at certain times like the Splatfests, but more often. The visuals are better and the game is even more polished.

The gameplay is very similar to the first game but with the Nintendo switch controller and increased specs it looks a lot better.

Grandson really liked playing this. He gives it a thumbs up.

Splattoon 2 is a fun game that uses basic shooter mechanics, but introduces new and different objectives that breathes life into the genre. It's a fun competitive game, but not so daunting that casuals won't enjoy it either. One of the game's best features is Salmon Run, a player vs enemy co-op game mode that is highly addicting.

If you liked Splatoon, this is just more of a great thing.

Tons of fun but it's a bummer it doesn't have split screen. Would've been a great addition to the game. Still a lot of fun though.
