I'm new to Splatoon - didn't play the first one - and I'm so happy I got this game. I wish the reviews for games had a "fun" score. I get that this is reviewing around 8-9, but the "fun" factor is a 10. This game is a blast. The motion controls are a little odd, but they work once you get the hang of them. I love this game!

I was undecided about buying this game since its been out awhile and there are rumors of Splatoon 3 being released soon. However I'm glad I bought it even if I'm late to the party. It's a fun game with a lot of variety when you include the online mode. It will also get me up to speed for when the next version is released. The only real complaint I have is that I wish it had local split screen multiplayer.

If you liked splatoon you will like this sequel. The game is a lot of fun and the single player campaign is interesting and enjoyable. My only qualm with the game is that Ranked only has one match type at a time and the maps stay the same for hours before switching. If you want to jump in for an hour or two you will be playing the exact same thing the whole time. I like variety. As well, Salmon run is not always allowed. Only during certain times right now. But overall, a great game.
