Kids love playing online with other family members.

I absolutely love this game, I play it all the time

A great fps that kids can easily pick up and enjoy.

If you liked splatoon you will like this sequel. The game is a lot of fun and the single player campaign is interesting and enjoyable. My only qualm with the game is that Ranked only has one match type at a time and the maps stay the same for hours before switching. If you want to jump in for an hour or two you will be playing the exact same thing the whole time. I like variety. As well, Salmon run is not always allowed. Only during certain times right now. But overall, a great game.

Fun game that anyone can play, but has a lot of depth in terms of learning weapon styles and strategies. Lots of customization options and weapons to choose from. The Splatfest events are a blast. I only wish it was easier to play with friends, as it does not let you control whether your "group" is on the same team or not.

A lot of fun. Like paintball without the mess and pain. Run around splashing your teams color all over the board. Change your outfits to give you power ups and a bunch of painting tools/weapons to choose from. You can even team up to play your friends online.

So the game itself is fun, albeit a bit repetitive. I bought it to play with a friend that lives in a different state, but the way Nintendo has set up multiplayer is...unfortunate. I'm not sure if it's different with more than a total of two people (as in, you and your friend). To have a chance at playing with your friend, you have to join their lobby once they've queued for a match. Often times, you won't join the lobby in time and will have to wait 3 minutes for their current match to end before joining. Then once you're finally in the lobby, the chance of actually being on their team is totally random, and you'll usually end up fighting them instead of playing with them. You can't duo queue into competitive (ranked battles.) You CAN form a team for League battles (another competitive mode) but you have to have a full team (a total of 4 friends.) The PvE multiplayer mode (Salmon Run) is much easier to join and play with a friend...except the part where it isn't available at all times, so some days if you want to play PvE with a friend you're just out of luck. I would only recommend this if you aren't getting it specifically to play with friends. That being said, I haven't tried the local host multiplayer mode (which requires everyone to be in the same room). And not splatoon's fault, but Nintendo requires the use of an app via your smart phone if you want any sort of typical online multiplayer experience.

This is basically the first Splatoon only redone for the switch. It’s still a good game and is enjoyable online.

Is very similiar to the last one and improved a lot

I heard about the original game a while back, but didn't check it out since I barely played my Wii U and didn't wanna chance a loss. Bought this day 1 and have been extremely satisfied with it! With it's nearly daily updates, fresh gameplay, excellent community and fun environment, Nintendo did AMAZING with this new IP!

This game is incredibly fun; although there are some "issues" as far as voice chat goes, and some of the design decisions in online (cannot exit lobby), those don't detract from the amount of fun in this game. I'd give it a 9/10; it's as fun as Mario Kart, and is truly a great game for Casual and more Hardcore players.
