Game is fun and well polished. It takes a bit to get used to the controls but that just adds to the fun.

This has been the sleeper game for me, so far, on Switch. I've really been having fun with it and I think it's a unique twist on the shooter genre. They make it very easy to get into a quick game and it makes you want to keep playing.

Im not a big MP fan but I still enjoyed this a lot. So far its my second most played switch game. Never played the first one either. Lots of weapons to unlock, and new gear to get. The modes are limited, but still fun. The rotation of maps keeps it feeling fresh even if there aren't that many.

This is a fun game but it isn't much different than the first one. And it doesn't support split screen.

The game is extremely fun. You can go play a Regular match which, imo, is the casual side of the game to have fun. Then, the ranked games are super competitive. The need to win is there and thats what makes this game for me! It has 2 of the best sides of multiplayer in it for home and on the go.

This is the first time I’ve played a Spkatoon game and I gotta say I’m loving this game. The only downside is you can’t play local multiplier without multiple switches. I’m my opinion local multiplier on a single home counsel is a requirement if Nintendo wants to refer to the switch as a home counsel and not another portable. Imagine if Sony or Microsoft required you to lug a PS or Xbox over to your friends if you wanted to play multiplier?

Easily one of my favorite Switch games! Don't let the cutsy graphical style fool you -- matches can get very intense and push you to be very strategic in your gameplay. The only downside is that there is no local co-op option. Nonetheless, I highly recommend this game.

Fun storyline. Graphics are good. Easy to stay involved.

Splatoon is a hard game to get into with it's motion controls and unique way to control the play area. The first game (on the Wii U) still ended up being a blast but the single player campaign was a bit lacking. Splatoon 2 for the Switch improves on the first game but adding a better developed single player experience, local co-op, and portability! It will be interesting to see how the servers hold up when Nintendo Online goes live next year.

This game is fun but a little tough for my 5 year old to understand what to do. He's getting it though.

Got this for myself, the 42 year old, but had a blast playing with niece and nephew. We all took turns and were learning from each other and I loved it! Haven't dug into the game as much as I'm sure the hardcore people have, but as a casual shooter, it's super fun and works well in short doses.

I love this game. I skipped Mario Kart 8 and Zelda since I have them on the Wii U and I never played the original game but I get the hype now. This game is just plain fun. I'm not one of those people who plays shooters and I usually hate those kinds of games but this is hours and hours of fun.

I played the original Splatoon, and this is a great successor! The games are short enough to have the constant “just one more” feeling but long enough to enjoy yourself. The wide variety of weapons makes it so you can spice up a boring session by trying out a new weapon.

This is a nice take on shooters and I recommend this to anyone who likes fast paced games.

Don’t worry if you’re unfamiliar with the original Splatoon that came out on the Nintendo Wii U console. This sequel delivers more of the same that made the original such a hit. Splatoon is a kid friendly take on the competitive shooter genre and is still a blast to play online and offline.

There's plenty of strategy involved. With different classes of shooters and a wide variety of sub-weapons, plus ability tweaks via clothes, there's plenty of ways to customize your character for your preferences. The matches are short but highly addicting and competitive. Super fun.

Great alternative to traditional shooters like Call of Duty and Battlefield. Perfect for at home and on the go play! Another solid hit for the Switch. To be fair, the game hasn't changed much from the last game, but has an "everything old is new again" feel. The supers from the first game were replaced, and they added an awesome new horde mode. As for the rest of the game, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Got this on sale for my son's birthday. Even better, it dropped in price the following week and they quickly refunded me the difference. Great game so far. Only wish it had split screen multi-player. Kind of disappointing.
