Game is fun, multiplayer is only online and controls are hard at first

This game is really fun. My wife doesn't mind watching my son and I play and she even tries to play. This game is fast paced with all the elements of a good shooter. Very pretty to look at just plain fun. Any Switch owner needs this game.

Nintendo has always been creative with their IP's and Splatoon is no different. It's a unique paint shooting game, it's refreshing after all the CoD style shooters that are always releasing, and it's singleplayer content is pretty good. Tons of free content updates as well.

I never played the first game, so I had no idea what I was in for. I was definitely not disappointed and there's a lot to do in the game, both single and multi-player. Highly recommended if you like a twist on the typically shooter genre.

If you like 3rd person shooter online game, then this game is for you.

This Splatoon concept remains one of the funnest, multiplayer TPS on the market. Great visuals, smooth controls, the array of weapons and customization options only adds to the fun. Definitely recommend this for anyone who owns a Switch.

fun game to play online with friends. kind of a confusing start

Colorful graphics and short games make it an easy to pick up and play for a few minutes, or for an extended session. It's fun collecting near gear and tweaking our your character. The special events also change it up a bit which is nice.

Bought this game for my son and I play it more than he does. He loves it too, I just didn't know it was going to be so fun. The only down fall is that it doesn't have a two player battle mode like the first one does. In all...great game.

This is an addictive and fun new take on the shooter genre that will appeal to kids as well as adults. I havent had this much fun pkaying online shooters since gungame in Counter-Strike: Source. Only negative is no local split screen.

Get rid of the two teenie-bopper girls who comment for 10 minutes every time I try to start this game. I just want to get to the lobby and start playing. It seems as though you have to sit through the mind-numbing banter of two nitwit characters before you can actually play. It's horrendous. Once you do start playing, it's a ton of fun!

I bought this game for my eight year old. It stands out from other games in design, story, and graphics. It’s only been a week and he’s almost beat it already! not because it’s easy, but because he can’t put it down!

Splatoon is an excellent Nintendo game. My son and I loved the first one because you could battle someone on the same device. This new version for the switch only allows play for people on different devices/online. Other than that the changes look great and my son has a good time playing it.

I played a lot of Splatoon, and the upgrades in this version are great. The new Co-op mode is fun, the online multiplayer modes are back with less lag, the new maps offer a ton of movement options, and the new weapons feel great to use.

We purchased this game for our kids and the graphics look fun!

Good game overall, controllers are a bit tricky but my 5 year old managed to learn them. Be warned, this is a 1 player game, there is a multiplayer mode but that requires online access and a subscription. Subscription is $4 per month and can be turned off any time.

Thought I would give it a try since I've seen good reviews.
