The game is a lot of fun, but there is no local split screen play.

Great game, fun to play online, not a huge change from the 1st

It takes some getting used to; as there's a bit of a learn curve especially with joy cons and motion controls. Even though I'm used to FPS games... This took some getting used to. Online play is very addictive! Lots of great color and graphics for the switch. Multi-player is where's its at, but the campaign is a lot of fun too.

but definitely a step up. i haven't been able to play multiplayer because I have crappy wifi on the switch (yet not on other devices) so I know nothing about the new modes there. if you like the first, invest in the second.

I've logged a lot of hours on Splatoon 2, it's awesome! Really fun when you can get a group of friends to join in and play together. The single player is pretty good too, but the real star here is the online multiplayer.

This game is loads of fun! I am terrible with "shooter" games, so it took me a while to get the hang of it, but once I did, it was very entertaining. The gameplay is immersive and the online interaction is fun, too.

This version is very much like the old. Some are calling it a sequel. There are a few new features, but not enough which is disappointing for me. The graphics are good and there is a lot of customizable clothing. I would recommend if you do not have the older version.

While not revolutionary over the first one, this one is on a handheld and it is a lot of fun. Great support for updates from Nintendo and for now still free multiplayer. Lots of fun and the splatfests are grewt multiplayer events.

By far this game was awesome. Played the first Splatoon and I was hooked. This second game just took me to a new level. Splatoon 2 is even better, on the new Nintendo Switch!

Nintendo's great experiment with competitive gaming, I can't say too many negative things about this game because it is pretty amazing. The aesthetic, gyro controls, gameplay...it's all great. The timed stages and stuff though, well, that's not so great, but overall it's a game that I hope Nintendo will not abandon in the future.

great game, great multiplayer, constant updates, play with friends or with anyone around the world, no two games are the same and the game comes with a ton of ways to play, with different weapons, just relax and have a great time

Kids love playing this. It looks awesome on the Nintendo Switch.

If you liked Splatoon for Wii U, you'll love Splatoon 2. While it's not perfect, it's a great game that delivers what the original did and then some. This is one of my favorite Switch games and is a must-own if you have a Switch!

I returned this game because I was unaware that you can’t play offline. I wasn’t willing to purchase the Switch online service for a game I wasn’t sure I would like. Disappointing but that’s how it goes sometimes.

The first game was great and this one is even better! Just about everything feels improved from the first one except the network feels a bit delayed even compared to the first game. Still a great game and is alot of fun to play!

My Son had the first Splatoon on the Wii U and instantly loved this sequel on his new Switch. Same fun gameplay with plenty of color being splashed around. Not really a game for the adults but hours of fun for the younger ones.

This is one of the best games for switch out there. The story mode is a little hard to start as the game gives you little to no explanation on how to start it, but once you start it, it is really fun. Hard to put the game down.
