Great game colorful, definitely for everyone. One thing I would mention is the game requires additional online service to truly experience playing against other players. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Unbelievable fun as a 3rd person shooter on the Switch. Kids can enjoy it without being violent. Colorful and vibrant to show off the Switch's graphics capability. Only knock would be that it is only multiplayer through online availability.

I hadn't played a Splatoon game before and decided to pick this one up. Since the game has been out for so long everyone is such a high level but the gameplay is so addicting it doesn't really matter

Splatoon 2 features robust multiplayer modes and coop that are competitive and a blast every match. With tons of variations in clothing and weapon gear that affect your attributes. This will keep you playing for a long time.

I've never played the first Splatoon, but I haven't had any issues learning how to play this game. I haven't stopped playing this game since I got it - I haven't played Breath Of The Wild or Mario Kart 8 since! Easy to pick up, hard to put down!

Just like the first version, this game 2 is very fun! They added a bunch of new stuff that make it a bit more challenging and different from the previous version. We enjoy playing on-line with all other folks painting away. Gotta love this game.

This is very much like the first Splatoon, but with some new additions that keep the experience fresh. Just turn the horrible motion controls off after the tutorial and the experience is heightened greatly.

Splatoon is a third person shooter where the goal is not necessarily to kill other players, but to spray more ink than your opponents and cover the most territory. It's an interesting take that people of all ages can enjoy.

I was one of the few people that played the original and while I was not sure if the sequel was going to be as good, I feel like I was right because... ITS TEN TIMES BETTER. I don't know how, but this game WITH THE OCTALING EXPANSION has a better story than the first, and it adds so much to the game. Multiplayer really stands out, but even we are talking about the story mode alone is worth a purchase. This game is so good and I had to buy it not once for me, but twice from my friend as well. If you have a switch there is no reason to not get this game. It's a fun time and its something that can be played at any pace. The online is excellent, and it will keep you entertained for days on end since they are always doing online game events called splatfests.

I love the original on wiiu so I was very excited to try out the sequel. It's much the same in terms of content and game play, but it has enough upgrades to the formula to be a must buy. If you enjoyed the original you will love this as well.

I bought this game 2 days ago and I find myself playing it way too much. It is a fun game for all ages. It is like a mix between paintball and call of duty without the violence. Only downfall is you cannot play multiplayer split screen.

This game is really fun, and has great multi-player experiences! With the Nintendo Switch you can take it on the go with you anywhere!!! Sadly, I'm not very good at the game, so I lose a lot, but I still get a lot of enjoyment out of it!

This was bought for my grandson for Christmas. Unfotunately, he already had this game. The exchange process was painless at Best Buy and he loves the next episode of the same game.

Don't let the kiddie coating fool you, Splatoon 2 has a lot of depth that, in classic Nintendo fashion, emerges from deceptively simple mechanics. Specifically, coating an arena in paint of your own color enables you and your teammates to swim through it quickly and slows down and damages your opponents. The use of color allows the game to quickly communicate your individual status and the overall status of the match in a way that most shooters don't achieve nearly as successfully. A match of Splatoon, then, is composed of a lot of small strategic decisions, which is where a lot of the fun (and addiction) comes in! Splatoon 2 gives even more variety in weapon types and modes, compared to the original, which really enhance the strong core gameplay, i.e. give you more creative ways to respond to what's going on in the match.

This game really improved on itself like a sequel should. It has all the good of the old, but with newer content that's even better. The single player mode is actually long enough to be worthwhile and can give some neat stuff.

I purchased for me son who loves the Splatoon series. He enjoyed this versus the original that he also enjoyed. More options and levels plus the bonus levels. A great purchase.

Splatoon 2 is so much fun for my 7 year old son. It is one player only but with excellent online cooperative and competitive play. Age appropriate introduction to shooter gaming.

Kids' version similar to most Multi player FPS shooters with cartoon twist. Less violent. Highly detail. Good Graphics. Solid frame rate. Online troublesome. Chat needs improvement and simplicity. Plays best or better with Pro controller.
