If you are a Splatoon fan, then you probably already have this game. For those on the fence, this game will be addicting. Just keep in mind that it requires online play so you will need a mobile hotspot if you take your switch on the go.

This is a great game. Addictive really. You do have to have the nintendo connect however to play online. That and not having the DLC built in and still full price is a bit frustrating, but it ended up being worth it.

It’s nice that Nintendo has created an entirely new ip here. It feels good. It is intuitive and the game play is excellent. Wish in tabletop mode you could just use the attached joycons for a two player mode.

I never had the Nintendo Wii U and was looking forward to finally trying Splatoon 2 as I heard great things with Splatoon 1. I was very impressed as it has both a single campaign and a multiplayer campaign for days you just want to play against others. The color pallets are nice and the arena's are extremely fun. I am not a fan of having to be online to try out the arena nor it is 1 player on the switch . Otherwise it is alot of fun and contains lots of unlockable cosmetic / weapons to acquire. PROS: Fun, Colorful, Easy to learn controls/play Arena's are very fun and have strategies you can play Single Player Campaign is very fun and there is a team mode as well CONS: Must have Nintendo Account to play on internet Not all Arena's are unlocked at same time, its timer based throughout the day

This is the second instalment of the series and it more of what made it great with additional improvements(additions). You have a Switch get this you will have tons of fun. Kid friendly adult friendly plenty to keep you busy for ages.

We gave this to our grandson (12) for his birthday. He really enjoys this game. It’s fast moving and requires constant focus. He enjoys the team playing and the challenge, even though he’s very adept at video games and computers.

I’m a huge Splatoon fan. I got Splatoon on day one and played no other games on the Wii U after that. Splatoon 2 is excellent as well. The game is fun and visually appealing. The new stage—Grizzco—is entertaining. Great game!

My brother and I love this game but sucks that you need 2 copies of the game to play online. This is my 2nd copy but I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone who has an online subscription!!!

Good game to play online against others. Easy to pick up and play.

This game is for kids and adults who like to have fun and paint. I would not recommend this game for adults who are serious gamers unless they play this with her family and kids. I am an adult and find the online fun. I do not play for hours. This is good to own and have for when kids come over and keep them out of trouble. I do wish it had a story mode.

If you played the first game then you know what you are getting into. It's 1 with new maps, weapons, characters, gear, etc. The biggest addition here is the survival mode salmon run which will have you coming back for hours of fun.

Bought it as a gift for my 7 year old and he loves it! He also played splatoon and he said the 2nd was even better! Downside is to play multi player they ask to sign in to Nintendo id and it took us forever to find that info

This game was highly anticipated in our household since we owned the first one. This one didn't disappoint. Gameplay is smooth and playability can be quick which is a big thing in our house being that we're on the go all the time.

An addicting multiplayer experience A+! I love the graphics and characters in the game. It's also a needed break from all of the more serious multiplayer shooter games. You're guaranteed to be laughing, even when you're losing.

I haven't played this game, but my son loves it. The game is a great platformer with a good interface. If you have kids and you are looking for a good game, you can't go wrong with this choice.

I like the fact I can paint everything although in the beginning I had to change the settings that way the aim isn't directed to how the controller is angled. Other than that the game is awesome. I can't wait to play two player.

If you are a parent shopping for a younger child and you'd prefer they not play a first person shooter with realistic violence and your child isn't quite ready for games like Overwatch, then Splatoon 2 is a great alternative.

Bought the game for my Grandson. We bought later than expected and later than we told him. He keep bugging about when we were going to purchase it. We finally did and he loves it. And it got him of our backs. Thank you.

This game is just as good, with a few improvements from the Wii U version, but basically the same game. Has a new single player mode and a few new items, not to mention I don't have to play it with that clunky gamepad anymore!

For those who missed out on Splatoon on the Wii U, Splatoon 2 is a must have. For those that played the first game, you pretty much know what to expect. Splatoon 2 is a refinement of the first game, better visuals, more balanced multiplayer, a new single player campaign that is still as inventive and fun as the first game's, plus a new co-op mode and the promise of lots of post launch support like the first game received. It's nice to see this franchise continue on the Switch. There are still odd decisions like with the way the co-op mode is only available at certain times, and the maps are still on a periodic rotation or 2-4 hours. I think the 2 player couch mode isn't in this game, but admittedly, I never played that in the first game. This game is a must have for Switch owners.
