This is an Awesome game if you played and liked the first splatton you will really enjoy this one. There is alot more to the game in the new version. Plus the return of splatfest is fun. great shooter game.

I've never played any of the previous iterations of Splatoon. I will say this game is super fun to play with friends. I have put over 100 hours into the game and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I Have played this game now for over 500 hours and im not stopping anytime soon.many game modes many custmoizable options many playstyles. the FRESHEST rendition of the online shooter genre thats been big.

This is a kid friendly shooter with the objective to "paint the floor" your teams color. 4v4 matches on a course that will remind you of a elaborate skate park makes this game a ton of fun for any age above 5. You can level up your clothing and there is a lot of paint gun options like a roller (think melee sword that splatters paint at close range) brushes, (fast and furious painting) sniper paint guns, automatic guns, shotgun style paint guns and more. Really a lot of fun. You can swim as a squid very fast in your own teams paint color, and even teleport to a teammate in a match. Great balance and dynamic courses make this a solid game for most any skill level. Totally worth it.

Honestly, one of this best multiplayer games i've played EVER! I already put 45+ hours into it and i'm planning on putting 100+ into it. Can't stress this enough; if you own a Nintendo Switch, buy this game!

Really fun multiplayer game with an amazing single player campaign as well. The Switch library continues to grow with stellar games in its first year and this one is definitely a must-have. Highly recommend.

Fresh art direction, exciting and innovative shooter style gameplay with super fun mechanics. Plays great from anyone 6 to 60. I first played this in 2017 (bought it at Gamestop before I started using BestBuy), and recently bought it again as an XMas present this year. My most played game on Switch to this day and continue to play it a few times a week. The story mode is just "fine" in it, but acts as great tutorial if you're nervous to jump into the fantastic online play. You do need an Switch Online sub to play those modes, but it's welllll worth it. Either this or Fire Emblem 3 Houses are my favorite things on Switch.

My son hasn't actually played the one I purchased yet but has been begging me for it every day since he got his Nintendo Switch a couple of weeks ago. He has played it at a friend's house and he loves it!

Bought this game at Bestbuy! Bestbuy always have great selection and price. The game is awesome! Great collection to the Switch console! Would recommend highly buying this game at Bestbuy!

My son plays this game every chance he gets, and since school is out that's a lot :). Also buy one of those figurines (amibo I think they are called) adds to the fun and you can earn other outfits and such.

Lots of fun. Really sad it has no split screen and no matches against ai. This game will only shine connected to wifi. Which is fine, but being a take with u anywhere system, should have them other options.

This is really a fun game for all ages. I fall in love it with my son for the turf war online. Special game mode and a lot of gear option you may select. Hope the Mario Oddessey can be better this month.

I was a huge fan of the original Splatoon on the Wii U, so I was excited for the sequel. For the most part, Splatoon 2 is much like the original which is a good thing. The core mechanics of the game is very addictive. I love Turf War because it's fun, fast paced and short so you can get a few action packed game matches in. It is great to relive stress. The sequel has new modes which spices up the formula a bit. The only downside is that I wished Nintendo would allow offline Turf War with bots, this would make it great for a mobile device like the switch where if you're not near WIFI (long car ride) you can still enjoy its best mode. I hope Nintendo will listen to its fans and update the game to have offline bots.

Amazing game. Love all the online features and the layout. Different from your typical call of duty or destiny and that's the change I was looking for. Also this game focus more on fun, which is enjoyable.

The game is fun but not for everyone. The ambience is cartoony but its fun if you play with people you know. Simple but adictive, not much innovation but its worth a try. Enjoyed with my kids.

Splatoon 2 is a great sequel to the multiplayer paint fest Splatoon, and its even better. Fun for all ages, simple and still competitive, a great introduction for anyone to multiplayer games.

Every other shooter on the planet looks and feels the same compared to this. Everyone else is pushing the boundaries of graphics an gore, but Nintendo innovates. There is more than meets the eye here. Contrary to other reviews, this is not just about painting the floor; "splatting" opponents is critical to winning. The way you move around, swimming through your own color of ink, makes this game very unique. It may look like a kids game, but the look is intentional as part of the way the game simultaneously mocks and celebrates pop culture, fashion, and social media. My only complaint is that the single player mode (especially the final boss) is not as good as the first game. Absolutely you should buy this game.

WOW. I was not expecting to love this game this much. I'm a big shooter fan and didn't expect this game to hold my attention like it has been. Now, don't go into this game thinking it's your standard shooter ala Call of Duty or Halo, no, this game is all about coverage. Your ink coverage that is. Shooting walls, floors, and yes even enemies. The team who covers the most area of the map wins. It took a while to adjust to not solely focusing on shooting other players in multiplayer but once you find your groove you're golden. The single player campaign is also fantastic and a real mix of shooting/puzzle solving. The co-op Salmon Run mode...AWESOME. Love this game. It hasn't left my switch since I picked it up.

This is a good sequel to the original splatoon, a kid-friendly first person shooter. The only thing I miss is the dual screen capability to see the map and the game simultaneously. In this version you need to switch screens to see the map. A nice advantage is the portable mode of the Nintendo Switch to play on the go.

I wasn't sure about this game at first, but when I started playing it was hard to put down. It's got the best parts that any other multiplayer shooter has, but the color add so much more to the game
