Would recommend if you are looking for a different Nintendo experience. Very creative game and the graphics look amazing for a switch title.

Fans of the original will love this new installment in the Splatoon series, as it has everything that made the first game great and then adds even more content for hours of fun. The single player mode has been improved so that there is definitely more to do, though the biggest part of the game comes from the online multiplayer. The motion controls take some getting used to, though you can choose to play without them if you want, but the matches themselves are a lot of fun, as it adds the Nintendo touch to the genre of third person shooters. There's always plenty to do, and the thriving community that has grown out of this game is amazing. Definitely a must buy

I bought this game after buying the Switch for my daughter and myself. This game is so much fun. My daughter has taken over the game naturally...lol. She absolutely loves the game.

My son asked and asked for this, and he's not disappointed. Very fun game with some great options. He loves the online interaction. Biggest disappointment (for me, as the parent) is that there is currently no option to play 2 (or more) player locally, unless you have multiple Switch's and games.

My kids and their friend love this title. They use to play it on the Wii U and they now love this new version on the Nintendo Switch, specially the ability to play on-line with other players.

Lots of wacky fun with paint going everywhere. Nintendo keeps on making good quality games and this one is no different. I would recommend it

I really enjoy this game from the different PVP modes to the salmon run. Even the single player is fun. My only minor issue is that you don't always get to match up with your friends for PVP.

This is a game for all ages, but maybe don't let the toddler log into multiplayer or else you will have a lot of salty team mates! The games are whimsical but the tactic is real!

Never played the first game, but tried this out during the first test fire and really enjoyed it. The single player is decent, but it really shines when online and playing against strangers.

One of the games that you at least need to try if you have a Switch. Addictive, creative and fun. Sorry this review is so short, but I wrote it in between rounds so gotta go

This game is primarily a multiplayer game. It does however, have a single player mode that you can play if you're a completionist. The story mode in my opinion is a bit boring but it's neat that Nintendo once again threw in something to make this game not jsut be multiplayer. Though the majority of your time will be on multiplayer. The multiplayer is fun and there are a lot of customization options for you to choose from. You can either go for being stylish or for having the best abilities thatll suit your needs. Its a fun game that anyone of any age can pick up and play thanks to motion used for aiming (which can be turned off if you favor using the joysticks)

I didn’t think this game would hold my attention for long but I decided to give it a try. This game blew me away as to how much fun it was. It took me away from BOTW for a good two weeks

Splatoon 2 is an amazing game full of charm, humor, deep weapon customizations,and free DLC updates for a year. If you have played the original you'll be pleased to know that Turf Wars are back and are as fun as they have ever been. A new mode to this game is Salmon Run. Similar to Call of Duty Zombie mode, Salmon run puts you against various creatures as you and 3 others shoot to stay alive. This new mode is addicting and gives you exclusive gear and rewards. Overall Splatoon 2 is an amazing sequel that improves upon the original with the addition of Salmon Run, a new story mode, and new weapons and gear. This is an essential purchase for any Nintendo Switch owner.

This game is great! It plays great and there’s a lot to do with a lot of replay ability. I like the levels and the mechanisms and they improved from the first game.

I bought this game with two other friends, it will be better if you have a four people team. The PVE salmon run is quite fun. I'm bad at controller aiming but motion control is different.

Very anticipated game for the switch totally recommend. Easily a must buy for the Switch. Also a console mover if you don't own a Switch yet.

This was a gift for niece and she absolutely loves it. It’s really colorful and adventurous. It’s a really nice and fun game to play.

A fun and addicting game, however, (local) multiplayer is severely lacking. No split screen multiplayer available. If you want to play with someone locally, they have to have their own switch and their own copy of the game. And (I believe) even then you are not guaranteed to be on the same team.
